Oromia Insurance S.C. is seeking qualified and able candidates for colorful job openings. Established and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia on January 26, 2009, Oromia Insurance S.C. (OIC) is engaged in the general insurance sector. The company began its operations on February 9, 2009, founded by 540 shareholders with an original paid-up capital of Birr 26 million and a subscribed capital of Birr 85 million. By the conclusion of the 2016/17 financial year, the number of shareholders had increased to 840, along with a corresponding rise in paid-up capital. This growth underscores the company’s robust fiscal foundation, as it was the first in Ethiopia’s insurance industry to mobilize such a significant amount of paid-up capital. Additionally, the different composition of its shareholders reflects a strong social base, which includes low-income farmers represented through their collaborative unions.
Position 1: Risk Management & Compliance Services Officer
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Economics or Accounting or Banking & Insurance or related fields of study from recognized advanced learning institution.
Work Experience 2 years of applicable work experience

Position 2: Senior Human Resource Strategy And Organizational Development Officer
Education Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Management, Business Development, or related fields.
Experience 4 years of applicable work experience out of which 2 years as an HR Officer or 4 years as a Junior HR Officer or original position

Position 3: Senior Investment And Projects Management Officer
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance, Management or affiliated field of study from recognized advanced learning Institutions.
Experience 4 years of applicable work experience out of which 2 years as an Accountant or Projects or Investment Officer or 4 years as a Junior Accountant or Junior Projects Management Officer or Junior Investment Officer or original position.
