Position 1 Economic Strengthening Specialist  

Safeguarding Children and Young People( Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion( GEI)  Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct( CoC),  icing that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the applicable procedures.  

Ensures that all staff in the unit/ function/ department are properly inducted on and understands their role in upholding Plan International’s safeguarding and GEI policies;  Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.  

Ensures that Plan Ethiopia contributes to Plan International’s global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI, including making sure that applicable reporting and data are submitted.  

About You  Bachelor’s Degree or advanced in international development or a related field preferred;  

At minimum of 5 years of work experience in profitable strengthening/ empowerment programming;  

Good experience and knowledge on enterprise development( specially SMEs) former work experience with USAID, preferred  Ability to initiate and organize work while establishing priorities in a presto- paced, time-sensitive environment to meet deadlines with attention to detail;

Position 2 Child Protection in Emergency( CPiE) Manager  

Safeguarding Children and Young People( Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion( GEI)  

Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct( CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the applicable procedures.

About You  

The Individual  Bachelor’s Degree( MA preferred) in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Community Development, Law, Political Science, and related fields.  Minimum 5 years of applicable experience of which at least three years ’ experience with NGOs.

Position 3 Project Officer

Qualifications experience essential  Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Community development, Development Management, Social work, or another related field  to 5 years of field experience in the implementation of community development- related interventions programs in INGO.  

Experience with USAID- funded or institutional donor funding preferred  

Experience in partnership management and/ or representation is important;  

Ability to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, respect, and innovation in all aspects of the position

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS  

Qualifications/ Experience Essential  Bachelor’s degree or original in mass communication, Journalism & Literature, Psychology, Counselling, public health/ Nursing, Social work, Sociology, community development & leadership, and other applicable social sciences fields  to 5 times of related experience in NGO/ INGO.  

Qualifications/ Experience Desirable  pukka in Microsoft Office(e.g. Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook) and graphic designs.  

Knowledge and ability to operate a  particular computer and utilize software including, but not limited to MS Office( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other computer applications.  

Proven ability to prepare clear,  terse reports with graphics; extraordinary attention to detail  

Demonstrated ability in management, analysis, and processing of data to inform project planning and M&E

Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results;  

Ability to manage multiple disagreeing priorities
