Must have specialized professional qualifications
• Degree in Security Management/ Administration or any specialized or business discipline
• At least 4 years ’ experience in commercial security with acceptable exposure in leadership appointments.
• Service in the disciplined forces preferably not below the rank of “ captain ” from the Military or its equivalent in the police service will be an added advantage.
• General knowledge of Ethiopian Laws and Government Regulations about law enforcement – Knowledge of original language is desirable.

Job Requirements
• 3 yr Degree/ public Diploma related to engineering field of study
• 5 years ’ work experience in the telecoms industry specific to Transmission implementation planning and Transmission Systems
• Good knowledge & experience in the Microwave, Fiber, Router, Synchronisation, and Switches technologies specific to Tellabs/ Coriant, Nera, SIAE, Hughes, Radwin, Symmetricom, Nokia, Alcatel Lucent, and application
• Good knowledge and experience in performance management and planning tools in Transmission for Safaricom Business and Consumer Business, GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies and systems
• TDM, ATM, PDH, SDH, C/ W/ DWDM, IP/ MPLS, MEF, TX architecture, IP & TX Protocols knowledge and application
• Project Management skills & Advanced Excel knowledge
• IP Expert in Layer 1 to 4 of OSI stack and Standards in IEEE, ITU, MEF, optic radio frequency
