Position 1: Intern – Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
Interns are selected on a competitive basis and the following minimum qualifications are required.
• Applicants must be enrolled (or have recently graduated from) in a postgraduate degree program (similar to a master’s program, or advanced) Or have recently graduated with a first-level university degree related to Economics, Business Management, Public Administration, Project Management, or other applicable fields and must start the internship within one- year of graduation.
• Applicants to the UN Internship Programme aren't required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that's closely related to the type of internship that you're applying for is required.
• Ability to work for successive 6 months.
• Interest in working on climate and environment-related thematic areas.
Languages
Fluency in oral and spoken English and Amharic is required.

Position 2: Intern – Disaster Threat Management (DRM)
Interns are selected on a competitive basis and the following minimal qualifications are required.
• Applicants must be enrolled (or have recently graduated from) in a postgraduate degree program (similar to a master’s program, or advanced) Or have recently graduated with a first-level university degree related to Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, or other applicable fields and must start the internship within one- year of graduation.
• Applicants to the UN Internship Programme aren't required to have professional work experience. Still, a field of study that's closely related to the type of internship that you're applying for is required.
• Ability to work for successive 6 months.
• Interest in working on disaster risk management, climate, and environment-related issues.
Languages
