Position 1: Finance Officer
Professional Competencies
These are skills, knowledge, and experience that are important for effective performance.
General professional competencies
• Experience working as a Finance Officer in the humanitarian or development sector, in the private sector, or with an original NGO
• former experience working in the Somali Region Context is a bonus
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
• Professional knowledge of auditing is a bonus but not essential
• Good working knowledge of English is required
Academic and Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
• Minimum of Three years of experience working as a Finance officer in a philanthropic / recovery/ emergency context
• former experience from working in complex and unpredictable contexts
• Computer skills( Common Microsoft Windows and Office applications);
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Fluency in both spoken and written English.

Position 2: Finance Coordinator
General professional competencies
• minimal 5 years of experience as a Finance Coordinator/ Officer in an INGO or philanthropic agency
• University degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent is preferred
• Experience working in complex and unpredictable contexts

• Knowledge about own leadership skills profile
• Solid knowledge of computer software and ultramodern accounting systems.
• Fluency in English both written and verbal is a must.
