Position 1: Network Field Technician
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and fix networking devices like switches, routers, servers, etc.
- Install cables( fiber and copper) cables, patch panels, splice enclosures and other fiber cable accessories in fttx networks.
- Carries out testing of fiber lines in fttx networks, metro networks and others.
- Upgrade and maintain networks.
- Install wireless networks, cabling, and connections.
- Troubleshoot and break introductory networking issues.
- Carries out regular inspection and maintenance of colorful networking devices and provisory power systems.
- Install, maintain and fix power lines to data centers.
- Install, operate, maintain and fix power backup systems like battery backups and Diesel generators.
Qualification and Skills
- Diploma in IT, computer science or any related field from an accredited specialized school or college.
- At least one year experience as a network technician or applicable position.
- Outstanding individual, problem- solving and logical skills.
- Skillful in installation of devices.
- Good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of networking.
Position 2: Facility Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning and installation of the company’s installations similar as power backup systems, power lines, creators, HVAC, Cameras, etc.
- Troubleshooting and fixing issues within the facilities
- Maintenance and repair of data centers facilities.
- Using the power monitoring tools to monitor the power system of Data centers and acting proactively so that a high availability can be achieved
- Regular monitoring of creators and beating up the fuel.
- Operating movable diesel creators when required at facilities.
- Managing projects of Data Center building.
- Ensuring that all facility equipment is running properly and efficiently.
- Ensuring high Vacuity of network devices
- Keeping access logs of data centers
- Processing rentals of facilities.
- Posthumous report of major power outages
Qualification and Skills
Degree/ advanced diploma from an accredited specialized school or college.
At least three years of experience in IT facility management or related.
Outstanding individual, problem- solving and ogical skills.
Skillful in installation of devices.
Good communication skills.
