Position 4: Manager, Asset and Liability Management
Educational Qualification
Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, BCom, Statistics, Financial modeling, Accounting, or related fields.
A master's degree is preferred.
Work Experience
years of applicable experience in balance sheet management and investment management environment.
Good understanding of money market instruments similar to cash, bonds, rescue agreements, and secondary requests.
Strong ability to understand and analyze market data.
The primary responsibility is to oversee the bank’s overall banking portfolio, which includes managing the backing and liquidity for both original and foreign currencies. The part focuses on developing and managing interest rate risk and maturity profiles, maximizing net interest income while maintaining liquidity, and ensuring that exchange rate risk doesn't negatively impact the bank’s capital under the direction of the Director of Treasury Management and the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO).
