World Vision Ethiopia began its first intervention in Ethiopia in 1971 with relief and opened the Ethiopia office in 1975. Relief, rehabilitation, and small community development projects dominated the decade that followed. During the 1984/85 drought, World Vision Ethiopia participated in a massive relief operation that saved the lives of millions of people. Starting its operation with emergency intervention in some parts of Ethiopia, World Vision currently operates in 53 Area Programs( APs) implementing effective programmes, similar as Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene( WASH), Nutrition, Emergency Response, Faith and Development, Food Security, Economic Development, Climate change, and environmental systems and othercross-cutting programmes.
Position 1: Communications and Marketing Director
Job Purpose Increase the overall reputation, trust, and income of World Vision Ethiopia. Provide strong strategic communications and marketing leadership for the organisation. Lead in the development and implementation of an intertwined strategy for the building of a high- performance communications and marketing function that's managed, structured, focused, and staffed for productive and quality work. This strategy will identify the crucial communications and marketing requirements of World Vision Ethiopia, while setting and steering strategic communications and marketing goals and processes that are contextualised to and in alignment with its core ministry functions and goals nationally and with our global strategy, Our Promise. Ensuring alignment with global marketing and communications strategic objectives of; achieving high- quality and sustainable funding, ignite content, ignite global voices, and ignite staff.
Major Responsibilities
National dispatches and marketing strategy is developed, and posterior operating counteraccusations are realised to insure an effective and intertwined framework exists, providing overall leadership and ownership of all original income streams into the public office
A high performing marketing function is increasingly suitable to raise original sources of funding to support the ministry World Vision better and more sustainably

Field, Technical Programme, Grant, Emergency communications are resourced, staffed, and focused – to deliver high- value content that's used internally and externally Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Journalism, Arts or analogous
Professional certifications in any of the specialized areas of communications, marketing, humanitarian and development sector profitable
Required Professional Experience
5 years and below experience leading and managing marketing and communications teams in transnational humanitarian and development sector, business, or creative diligence
Demonstrated experience managing commercial partnerships and developing major donor relationships
Advanced specialized skills in at least one or more of the major areas of the job, similar as; creative services, public engagement, commercial communications, marketing operations, supporter engagement, business development, etc
Proven experience of training and capacity building of others
Advanced level of computer proficiency, Mac and PC
Experience working with children and youth
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Thorough knowledge of the marketing, communication, and media assiduity
Thorough knowledge of international development, World Vision development practice, and marketing and dispatches needs trip and/ or Work Environment Requirement

Position 2: Health Officer
Major Responsibilities
- Participate in woreda level and zonal meeting, work closely with government health offices, visit health facilities and identify existing health emergency gap
- Prepare terms of reference (TOR), organize and facilitate training, review meeting and draw stylish lessons practice.
- Health facilities capacity on the timely responding, preparing of the preparedness plan

Position 3: MHNT- CMAM Officer
Major Responsibility
- Supporting woredas and PHCU in planning and conducting nutrition screening activities; Ensuring existence of functional referral pathways and linkages between communities and HF and vice versa;
- Promoting the availability of services to which beneficiaries can be appertained, training of staff in nutrition screening and referral services;
- Ensuring that HFs are equipped with minimal supplies needed for nutrition screening activities,( e.g. MUAC tapes, registration and reporting format, referral forms, guidelines etc.);
