Abay Bank has fulfilled all the National Bank of Ethiopia requirements to set up a bank, officially established on July 14th, 2010, and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010. Currently, the bank's paid-up capital is Birr4.733 Billion/ Four Billion Seven Hundred Thirty-three Million Birr as of June 30, 2023, and the number of shareholders reached 4,437/ Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Seven.  The Bank is poised to serve all profitable sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services,  transnational trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction and real estate sectors  

Position 1 Junior Property Management Officer  

JOB REQUIREMENT  BA Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Supplies Management, Management, Accounting, or business-related field of study with a minimum of 2 (two) years in property management-related work experience.

Position 2 Senior Customer Service Officer Grade – I  

Qualification & Experience BA Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting or a business-related field of study with a minimum of 3( three) years of experience in banking operations.  

Place of Work Addis Ababa  

Position 3 Principal Accountant  

Qualification & Experience MA/ MBA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or other business-related field of study, with a minimum of 5/6 years of experience in banking operations( finance department) of which 1 year at senior Accountant Position.  

Certifications in IFRS are obligatory.  Certifications in ACCA are advantageous.

Position 4 Principal Risk & Compliance Management Officer

Qualification & Experience MA/ MBA/ BA Degree Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or business-related field of study with a minimum of 5/6 years work experience in risk/ compliance operation of which 1 year at elderly Officer Position.  Place of Work Head Office  

Position 5 Director – Human Capital Development  

Qualification & Experience MA/ MBA/ BA Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field with/10 years of banking professional experience of which 6 years a directorial position in Human Capital Development. Or  MA/ MBA/ BA Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field with10/12 years of professional experience of which 6 years in  directorial position in Human Capital Development
