Addis Bank Jobs Vacancy
Addis Bank S.C
The word "Addis," which is part of the name of Addis Bank S.C. (AdB), carries a double meaning: new ideas and innovations and the first word of the capital city of Ethiopia, where the bank was born to shoulder its major charge. The new vision and innovative ideas and approaches that were originally brewed in Addis will still be imparted to implicit customers all over the country through branches that will ultimately be opened in the near future.
AdB is established by diversified groups of shareholders, cooperatives, microfinance institutions (MFIs), iddirs, other business associations, and individual citizens. The major shareholders of the bank are cooperatives and their members.
Cooperatives primarily engage in the provision of fiscal services, import business, manufacturing, and services. The members of the major shareholders are substantially low- and middle-income citizens. The microfinance institutions also address the fiscal requirements of the “unbanked" citizens.
ADB endeavors to be an inclusive bank that addresses the fiscal requirements of different income groups in the country. It plans to access the large number of requests from low- and middle-income people through cooperatives and microfinance institutions. AdB will expand its operations by opening new branches at request centers within and outside Addis.
