The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa/Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified candidates for the position of Translator, steward and provide Clerk.
Position 1: Translator
EXPERIENCE:-
• Three years of translation and interpretation expertise in a global establishment or any organization that executes translation services (from English to Amharic or vice versa) or international programs/policy is needed.

Education Requirements:

EDUCATION:- A university degree in Linguistics/ Language Studies (English or Amharic), Communication studies/ Journalism/media, social science & peacekeeping or law is needed.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
• Level four (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Amharic is needed. (This is also tested)

Position 2: steward
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of six months of tutelary or work expertise is needed.
Education Requirements:
Education: Completion of grammar school is needed.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Amharic level II (Limited knowledge) Reading/Speaking is needed.
English level I (Rudimentary) Reading/ Speaking is needed. (This is also tested)
Salary:USD $3,150 – USD $3,150
Position 3: provide Clerk
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: a minimum of a pair of (two) years of body work or warehouse stocking expertise is needed.
