The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), an international non-governmental organization( NGO), has been providing relief and development services in the Horn of Africa since 1997. DRC promotes and supports solutions to the problems faced by refugees, internally displaced people (IDPs), and migrants.
DRC Ethiopia began operations in 2009 and has been responding to the requirements of refugees, Internally Displaced Persons( IDPs), and vulnerable host communities ever since. DRC Ethiopia currently has programs implemented through five area offices( AO) in Gambella, Tigray, Somali( Jijiga & Dollo Ado), and Afar regions, as well as its country office (CO) in Addis Ababa.

Position 1:The Supply Chain Officer – Warehouse & Fleet- Maternity Cover
EDUCATION( include instruments, licenses, etc.)
• BA BM, inventories Management, or other applicable business fields.
Experience and specialized competencies (include years of experience)
• 4 years experience for Diploma or above 2- year experience for BA holders
• High integrity,pro-active, stable, robust character and a good team- player
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent logical and negotiation skills
• Experience in working in NGOs
• Proven commitment to accountability practices.
• Knowledge of computer word processing, and database management packages.
LANGUAGE( indicate fluency level)
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
Position 2: Protection Specialist (Access to Justice and Community-Based Protection)
Experience and specialized competencies (include years of experience)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience within the field of law and protection, particularly within the field of migrant/ IDP/ exile protection;
• At least 3 years of experience working with transnational NGOs, UN agencies, applicable ministries, and/ or original authorities in IDP/ migrants/ refugee settings in complex emergencies;
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with and supporting public and original authorities as well as philanthropic collaboration forums;
• Excellent logical skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in a complex and grueling environment;
• Experience with capacity building, and in convening and facilitating trainings and workshops;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective and working relations with staff members and other stakeholders;
EDUCATION( include certificates, licenses, etc.)
• minimum a university or graduate degree in law.
LANGUAGE (indicate fluency level)
Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
Salary Range USD 1,001.00 – 1,217.00 per month which specific amount will be determined upon applicants experience and educational relevancy
