Position 1: USAID Project Management Specialist – (Democracy & Governance)
Education Minimum of Bachelor’s in political science, international development, international relations, or other analogous social science degree is required.
Previous Experience At least five years of progressively responsible experience in the design and management of development and/ or humanitarian programs, at least three of which have included specific and expansive involvement in good governance activities.
Language English and Amharic at Level IV( Proficient). English proficiency is a requirement for positions with USAID. Instead of testing, as academic courses are taught in English at the secondary postsecondary level, English proficiency will be assessed throughout the evaluation process – application review, skills test, and interview. In addition, candidates may provide proof of English language proficiency. respectable certifications include CEFR of C1 or C2, IELTS( minimum of 6.5), Cambridge( CAE), TOEFL IBT( minimum of 95), or TOEFL ITP (minimum of 560). These test results are valid for two years.
MARKET VALUE$ 26,638 –$ 47,950 monthly i.e., original to FSN- 11. Following AIDAR Appendix J and the Original Compensation Plan of USAID/ Ethiopia. Final compensation will be negotiated within the listed market value. Salary will be paid in original currency at the exchange rate in effect when the payroll is processed.
Position 2 USAID Development Assistance Specialist – (Deputy PEPFAR Coordinator)
Education A Master of Public Health( MPH) or Master’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Health, Social or Behavioral Sciences, Organizational Development, Epidemiology, Biology, Infectious Disease, Political Science, Business Administration, or related fields is required.
Previous Experience Minimum seven years experience in public health/ development programs in developing countries with demonstrated broad specialized knowledge and experience in program analysis and planning, and management of programs in developing countries. At least two of the seven years of experience must be in HIV/ AIDS is required.

Position 3: USAID Project Management Specialist (RMNCH Cluster Lead)
Education Minimum of master’s degree or original original from an accredited program in Public Health, International Development, Epidemiology, Infectious Disease, Medicine, Pharmacy, or Midwifery is required.
Previous Experience A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in motherly, invigorated, Child Health, Adolescent Health, and Reproductive Health/ Family Planning. Previous experience working with or for bilateral or multinational donor stakeholders similar to the World Bank, the Global Fund, UN agencies, or public or private sector projects and icing compliance with U.S. Government rules and regulations is required.
