The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), an international non-governmental organization( NGO), has been providing relief and development services in the Horn of Africa since 1997. DRC promotes and supports solutions to the problems faced by refugees, internally displaced people( IDPs), and migrants.
Position 1: HR and Admin Intern
Experience and specialized abilities to work in Shire or Mekelle
Excellent chops in the use of computers( MS Word, Excel, Outlook Power PowerPoint).
EDUCATION( include instruments, licenses, etc.)
Fresh Graduate from an. Honored university in Human Resource Management and other applicable fields
LANGUAGE (indicate fluency in) English, Tigrigna & Amharic – Excellence in spoken and in writing. Location: North Area Office – Shire and Mekelle, Tigray.
Position 2: Finance and Admin Assistant
EDUCATION( include instruments, licenses, etc.)
Diploma, BA in accounting, operations, or an applicable field from a honored institution.
Experience and specialized abilities
Well-developed organizational and planning chops to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
Proven commitment to responsibility.
Minimum of 1 time of applicable work experience, preferably with NGOs for BA and 3 years of applicable experience for Diploma holders.
Experience using fiscal software operations and/ or advanced computer chops.
Excellent interpersonal chops and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations.
LANGUAGE (indicate fluency) English, Tigrigna & Amharic – Proficiency in spoken and in writing. Location: North Area Office – Mai-Tsebri, Tigray.
Position 3: Supply Chain Assistant- Warehouse
EDUCATION( include instruments, licenses, etc.)
Degree/ Parchment in purchasing and force operation, operations, finance, or applicable fields.
Experience and specialized abilities
Training in the force chain area
Minimum of 1 time of experience, preferably with an INGO.
Proven capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Be a platoon player.
Excellent interpersonal and communication chops.
Good command of both spoken and written English. Commitment to learning and enforcing organizational programs and procedures.
Proficiency in the MS Office packages is essential..
LANGUAGE (indicate ignorance position) English, Tigrigna & Amharic – Excellent in spoken and in writing
Location: North Area Office – Mekelle, Tigray.
Position 4: Supply Chain Officer – Procurement
EDUCATION( include instruments, licenses, etc.) University degree( Bachelor’s) in force chain operation or other original logistics fields.
Experience and specialized abilities rather than earned in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, or another applicable field, preferably with INGOs, for at least 2 times.
Excellent proficiency in all MS Office software operations.
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving chops with the capability to work both singly and within a platoon in a demanding work terrain.
Excellent personnel management skills, including diplomacy, communication, and negotiating skills.
Experience in staff training and capacity building Results Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to build partnerships.
LANGUAGE (indicate fluency level) English, Tigrigna, Afar & Amharic – Fluency in spoken and in writing
Location: North Area Office – Mekelle, Tigray.
Position 5: Finance Officer
EDUCATION( include certificates, licenses, etc.) University degree (Bachelor's) in accounting/ Finance,/ Audit)
Experience and specialized abilities Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team in a demanding work environment.
Excellent interpersonal and personnel management skills, including diplomacy, communication, and negotiating skills.
Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience in the financial/ accounting field.
Experience in staff training and capacity building.
Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to build partnerships.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team in a demanding work environment.
