Position 1: Molecular laboratory expert/ Junior project coordinator
Required Qualifications Trained in Molecular Medical Laboratory Science, Parasitology, Molecular Biology, or any original biomedical Science.
6 years and below experience in master’s degree.
Experience Knowledge in diagnostics and treatment monitoring/ surveillance including.
Demonstrated skill in molecular laboratory activities including birth, modification, gel electrophoresis processing, and qPCR.
Demonstrated skill in cell culture activities including extraction cell/ parasite culture, parasite growing and harvesting, conducting medicine resistance assays, Ring stage assay, etc.
Antimalarial medicine resistance molecular individual and monitoring technologies, tools, and approaches
Familiar with original and international research ethics.
Ability and visionary in teamwork and working long hours efficiently.
Experience in supply and procurement management of molecular supplies.
Advanced skills in data curation, analysis, and management.
Additional skills in sequencing and Bioinformatics are desirable 6. Contract Duration One year – with the possibility of an extension
Position 2: Antimalarial Drug Resistance Molecular Surveillance Laboratory/Project Coordinator
Required Qualifications Master’s degree, in Molecular quality laboratory management, Parasitology or molecular diagnostics or original in biomedical wisdom. Molecular lab experience, 10 years and above Work Experience Technical knowledge in antimalarial medicine resistance, including Training in Lab quality assurance and delegation system Antimalarial drug resistance molecular individual and monitoring technologies, tools, and approaches
Familiar with original and transnational exploration ethics. Ability and being visionary in teamwork and working long hours efficiently.
Experience in inventory and procurement operation of molecular supplies, with a focus on antimalarial drug resistance commodities and reagents
Experience in maintaining functional individual bias and outfit, with a focus on antimalarial medicine resistance-related devices and equipment Advanced skill in Microsoft Office and data
operation skills
Endured in R statistics and data visualization is desirable.
6. Contract Duration One year – with the possibility of an extension
Position 3: Senior Statistician or Senior Data Analyst
Required Qualifications
PhD in biostatistics, or M.Sc. degree in Statistics or Mathematics with statistics, or a degree in Epidemiology or Public Health with statistics.
Eight years experience for the PhD holders and ten years experience( for MSc holders) of work organizing and analyzing large data sets, immaculately biomedical or agrarian in origin, using statistical software.
Excellent logical, writing, and synthesis skills.
Experience working with partners at international, Indigenous, and public levels
Ability and visionary in team work, and good command of communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
The ability to work both independently and as a member of a team and to handle multiple priorities is required SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE.
Experience in using statistical software is required; experience with STATA and/ or R statistical software would be an advantage.
An ability to write reports of the analysis done in English.
Duration 1 year with possible extension based on availability of budget
Position 4: Specialized Assistant/ Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Expert
Required Qualifications APost-graduate degree in Food safety, food microbiology, Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Science and above with a specialization applicable to the below job description/ tasks
Experience in research publication, at least one published paper as a first author
Excellent written experience in the implementation of Food safety management system – ISO 22,0002018
A minimal work experience of 10 years for BSc, 8 years for MSc, and 6 years for PhD in HACCP implementation applied to agro-processors and feeding services.
Written Experiences of conducting HACCP verification activities in Ethiopia within the role of Controlling Authority (CA) inspection duties
Proven track record with significant experience in HACCP IMPLEMENTATION in at least three Agri- processing Or feeding service industries
Experience in developing HACCP and SPS-related procedure manuals, documents, and guidance materials for CAs and the private sector/ industry Proven track record with significant experience in the Ethiopian Food system
Be familiar with original and transnational research ethics
Be suitable to use statistical software similar to Stata,
Experience working with/ knowledge about existing food safety, food and nutrition, health policies, the Ethiopian health sector development program strategies and plans, and the health system strengthening activities of the country
Professional demeanor, in a professional office setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong logical and problem-solving skills
Ability to discuss corrective actions and once experiences
