FHI360 is implementing USAID funded Feed the unborn Ethiopia Community Nutrition Activity project with other consortium members. And the team is working to improve health and nutrition of pregnant and lactating women, children, and adolescents in 132 Zone of influence Woredas, in 9 regions and one city administration.
Position: 1 Office Assistant
Under supervision of the Mekelle area hub Finance and Admin Officer, the office assistant is responsible ensuring proper keep of the FHI 360 Mekelle Area Hub Office. Responsible for cleaning structures, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and suckers bottoms, shampoos carpets, empty trash containers, and replace lining off trash cans.
Clean the Office (collect and dispose rubbish; clean the bottom, windows, office rooms and furniture, toilets bathrooms, office compoundetc.)
Keep the office in good working order.
Ensure that the office is in good aseptic conditions.
Inform the supervisor of any problem, maintenance needs concerning the building.
Ensure that all the cleaning products and tea/ coffee/ sugar are available and store them in a safe place.
Make sure hot and clean cold water are always available for consumption in the office.
Prepare tea/ coffee/ milk service for staff and guests in the office.
Keep all the office room and compound clean all the time.

Grade 10 or 12 Complete and/ or Diploma or International Equivalent.
Having computer skill
Has knowledge of Mekelle City and surroundings
Experience Experience in a related job – ideally for an INGO.
Applicable work experience of 2 years and above
Satisfactory Felonious Record Check and free of felonious records
Fluent in Amharic and working knowledge of English and original area language have an Additional value.

Position: 2 Health & Nutrition Team Leader
Job Requirement
Education
Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Knowledge/ Information Services, Communications, Education, Environment, Health, Behavioral, Life/ Social Sciences International Development, Human Development or Related Field.
Project Management( PM) Certification preferred.
Experience
Over 6 years of applicable experience in specialized implementation of large projects and/ or programs may manage conditioning of lower- level staff, still, main function is individual contributor.
Documented experience providing specialized assistance, capacity building and business development in the specific specialized domain.
previous work experience in anon-governmental organization( NGO), government agency, or private organization. International or Domestic( US) Program Development or Program management preferred.
Experience establishing and leading successful startup operations projects in complex emergencies situations
Significant background in managing public health initiatives is equired
Experience leading specialized assessments using methodologies similar as SMART and SQUEAC; strong background in outcome monitoring and evaluation is preferred
Experience coordinating complex health programs with wide variety of stakeholders; experience as clusterco-lead is desirable
Knowledge and application of Office of US Foreign Disaster( OFDA), BHA and UN donors required.
Skilled in developing responsive, evidence- based program designs, including budget development.
Previous work experience in anon-governmental organization( NGO), government agency, or private company of progressive program management experience in humanitarian assistance or related industry experience in a applicable specialized area.
Familiar with and abide by Red Cross/Non-Government Organization( NGO) Code of Conduct.
Experience coordinating complex programs with wide variety of stakeholders; experience as clusterco-lead preferred.
Breadth of geographic location experience preferred.
Sensitivity to artistic diversity and understanding of the political, contextual, and ethical issues in assigned area

Job Requirements
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, Project Management, M&E or applicable discipline;
At least 3- 5 years of proven experience in the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Accountability of humanitarian or development programs.
Masters in an added advantage
Hands on experience on Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word and digital data collection tools and the use of smart devices for data collection.
Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and data management system.
Former experience with health, nutrition, protection and WASH programming.
