The GIZ Office in Addis Ababa oversees projects in Ethiopia and Djibouti where GIZ works on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development( BMZ), the German Federal Ministry of Nutrition and Agriculture (BMEL) and other commissioning parties. ICT is an integral part of GIZ every day busines. In digital age it's vital for GIZ Ethiopia and Djibouti provide the right tools for employees and automate processes to improve individual and overall productivity. Our aim current and professional ICT support for smooth operations. The ICT unit in GIZ Country office in Addis Ababa is providing devoted ICT specialized support and consulting services to units, programs, and projects so they can focus on their business. The short- term IT intern will assist in identifying old IT items, functional and inoperative IT items, and cable management works.

Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science or related field. Graduate of the year 2023 Professional experience
• Zero Years ’ experience Other knowledge, fresh competencies
• Strong Specialized Background in IT Technical support, Passionate about Technology, Professionally Driven, interpersonal skills, problem solver, team player. liabilities Thepost-holder within the predefined period of contract will be involved in documenting functional and inoperative old IT items, testing and standardizing laptops and computers in the store, managing network cables, and listing out active computers list. He she should assist on IT service unit with the following planned tasks
• Assist GIZ ICT service team members in the process of documentation planed for November and December 2023.
• Assist on the network renovation, configuration, and documentation works planned for the third quarter of 2023.
• Assist on old IT items test and list out IT particulars no more required.
• Assist on cable management work planned on August and September 2023.
• Assist on Documenting active computer lists planned on November and December 2023.
