Position Barista  

Job Summary  

The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, other beverages, and select food items to patrons.

Administrative Responsibilities  

• Monitor the staff in cafe.  

• Managing the café with all given SOP’s.  

• Responsible to take care of the current inventory and maintain power level stock for  diurnal business.  

Duties/ Responsibilities of Barista  

• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, similar as coffee, amalgamated coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested.  

• Describes product details to customers, if needed.  

• Serves  set menu items as per the availability.  

• Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with all the required stock to run the smooth operations.  

• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, in work area.  

• Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.  

• Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.  

• Performs other affiliated duties as assigned.

Required Skills Abilities  

• Excellent verbal and spoken communication skills.  

• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.  

• Good memory to manage multiple orders contemporaneously and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent patrons.  

• Ability to serve customers snappily, efficiently, and kindly.  

Education and Experience  

• Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures.  

• A minimum of 2 years of related  

Experience Physical Requirements  

• Must be suitable to lift to 15 pounds at times.  

• Must be available to work beforehand mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
