Aggar MFI is the first commercial private Microfinance established by Proclamation No40/96 which is currently replProclamation ationNo.626/2009 to serve the “ missing middle ” to provide credit and saving services in civic and pastoral areas of the Country.  The founders envisioned addressing both social and profitability objectives. Aggar was established by 443 shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr. Currently, its shareholders have grown to further than 750, its paid-up capital to more than 200 million, and its total assets to further than 410 million.  Aggar Micro FinanceS.C wants to recruit qualified professionals for the following Vacant Positions  

Position 1 Data Encoder/ Accountant I  

Educational Qualification BA degree/ College Diploma in Accounting & Finance or related fields.  

Experience2/4 years of applicable work experience in a financial institution  

Place of work Addis Ababa  

Position 2 Senior Risk and Compliance Management Officer

Educational Qualification BA Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, or related fields  

Experience 4 years of applicable experience 

Good knowledge of microfinance business 

Good knowledge of risk and compliance management principles and practices

Position 3 Section Head Financial Audit  

Educational Qualification BA Degree in Accounting or related field  

Experience 4 years of applicable experience 

Comprehensive knowledge of auditing and accounting principles and practices 

Thorough knowledge of financial laws and audit regulations 

Ability to analyze financial statements 

Good knowledge of microfinance business

Position 4 Section Head Performance Audit  

Educational Qualification BA Degree in Accounting, Management, or related fields.

Experience 4 years of applicable experience 

Comprehensive knowledge of auditing and accounting principles and practices 

Thorough knowledge of financial laws and audit regulations 

Ability to analyze financial statements 

Good knowledge of microfinance business

Position 5 Manager, Credit & Saving Mobilization Division  

Educational Qualification BA degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, or related fields.  

Experience 6 years applicable experience 2 of which in senior position

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles & practices 

Comprehensive knowledge of microfinance business 

Excellent knowledge of the  fiscal regulation of government  

Good knowledge of company governing policies 

Ability to supervise & control branch

Position 6 Manager, General Accounts Division

Educational Qualification MA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Management, or related fields,  

Experience 6 years applicable experience 2 of which in an elderly position 

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles & practices 

Comprehensive knowledge of microfinance business

Excellent knowledge of the  fiscal regulation of government 

Good knowledge of company governing policies 

Ability to prepare sa tatement of accounts IFRS application skills

Position 7 Director, Audit & Inspection Department  

Educational Qualification MA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Management, or a related field  

Experience8/6 years applicable experience 3 of which in senior position 

Comprehensive Knowledge of auditing & accounting Principles & Practices 

Thorough knowledge of financial law & audit regulations 

Ability to analyze financial statement 

Good knowledge of microfinance business

Good communication &  mortal R/ n skill

Basic computer application skill

Position 8 Branch Manager I  

Educational Qualification BA Degree/ College Diploma in Marketing, Management, Economics, Accounting or related field  

Experience 5 years of applicable experience 

Through knowledge of microfinance business

Good knowledge of  fiscal and marketing management principles and practices 

Good communication skills
