Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates for the following vacant job positions. Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering private bank, was established on November 10, 1994, after the downfall of the socialist regime. The Bank was established by 486 founding shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 24.2 million and started banking operations on Feb. 13, 1995. 

Since embarking on operations, the Bank has registered remarkable growth. Notwithstanding global and domestic challenges, Awash Bank has consistently exhibited superior functional and financial performance among private banks operating in Ethiopia. Awash Bank is currently working towards strengthening its capital base, technological capabilities,  mortal resources, and customer base.

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Administrative Services Management, plus a minimum of one( 1) year of experience in secretarial service.

Qualification & Experience 
BSc Degree in Information Technology-related fields, plus a minimum of four( 4) years’ experience in Information Security areas. 
Professional Certifications in the Information Security area, like Incident handling, Ethical Hacking, as a SOC Analyst, and any other affiliated areas (an added advantage). 
Job Summary 
The job holder reviews trouble tickets generated by SOC Analyst( s) I. Leverages emerging threat intelligence( IOCs, updated rules, etc.) to identify affected systems and the scope of the attack. Reviews and collects asset data( configs, running processes, etc.) on these systems for further investigation. Determines and directs remediation and recovery sweats.

BSc Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields, plus a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in IT, software development, quality examination, auditing and testing,  design operation, and banking areas. 
Professional instruments in ITIL Foundation (as an added advantage). 
Professional instruments in quality assurance areas, including quality adjudicator, quality mastermind, quality enhancement associate, and Six Sigma (an added advantage). 
Job Summary 
The job holder is responsible for supporting IT project quality assurance and IT change management activities. S/ he ensures that quality issues are assessed and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved. S/S/he reviews quality specifications and specialized design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. She supports the IT change management initiatives and strategies across the Bank. S/ he also validates if comprehensive and well-structured test cases are provided by the responsible custodians.

BA Degree in Economics/ Finance/ Accounting or related field plus a minimum of eight( 8) years of applicable experience. 
Master's in Business Economics, affiliated course, and Professional course( an added advantage) 
Job Summary 
The retainer is responsible for easing planning and monitoring conditioning. S/ he evaluates the execution of plans against set targets and recommends measures to keep the plan execution process on track.

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, and Economics, plus a minimum of eight( 8) years of applicable banking experience, out of which three( 3) years in an administrative position. 
Job Summary 
The job holder is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the banking activities of a branch office. S/ he ensures that operating procedures, rules, regulations, and code of practices of the bank are followed by inferiors. The retainer leads the branch sales and customer service initiatives and guides branch functional excellence. S/ he prepares and submits periodic budgets,  functional plans, and expenditure and progress reports.

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Management or other Business-related fields, plus a minimum of ten( 10) years applicable experience, with at least three( 3) years in an administrative position. 
Job Summary 
The Jobholder is responsible for general Supervision, Planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the Security and Protocol. She checks the felicitousness of development & implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures of the Bank’s Head Office.

Qualification & Experience 
Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies, Economics, or other related field plus a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience, with at least three (3) years in a directorial position role related to ESG activities, preferably within the banking or fiscal services industry. 
Professional course in related fields (an added advantage). 
Job Summary 
The jobholder is responsible for overseeing all ESG-related activities in the Bank. He she oversees the formulation and execution of ESG policies, procedures, guidelines, and strategies, ensuring compliance with both public and international standards. He she ensures that the Bank’s operations, investment opinions, and products and services align with leading sustainability standards and regulations. He she drives positive societal and environmental impact, effectively manages related risks, and enhances the Bank’s reputation and stakeholder trust. He she also works on integrating ESG principles into Awash Bank’s operations, strategies, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership activities.
