East Africa Bottling S.C. a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, is the sole bottler for Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia. We're very agitated to invite qualified candidates who are set to work with passion and focus for the position of Quality Controller and Talent & Development Specialist.
Position 1: Talent & Development Specialist
Skills, Experience & Education
First Degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field of studies with at least 5 years of applicable work experience in Human Resource Management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Drives the perpetration of the development infrastructure, in anticipation of need, including career paths, capability frameworks, competency definition, curricula design, critical learning interventions, and systems.
• Develops and manages relationships with external partners in the country, similar to educational institutions.
• Supports the alignment of Learning and Development processes, practices, frameworks, and tools, as applicable.
• Implements and reviews effective Learning and Development metrics, to drive and support business performance.
• Provide regular feedback on training material quality, effectiveness, and data integrity
• Supports the on-the-ground implementation, entrenchment, and monitoring of CAP processes, guides, progress, and gaps.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning methodologies, including ROI on interventions in the country.
• Provides Learning and Development support in line with business requirements.

Position 2: Quality Controller
Skills, Experience & Education
• First Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical/ Food Engineering or affiliated field of studies with a minimum of 2 years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Control Quality in on-site produced preforms and closures by sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.
• Control Quality in Bloated bottles – sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.
• Control quality in syrup making – sampling and testing are done according to required sampling methods and testing protocols( for simple syrup and final syrup)
• Decisions are made, recorded, and communicated to the applicable personnel, regarding the release of simple and final saccharinity.
• Control Quality in Water Treatment – sampling and testing are done according to required sampling methods and testing protocols.
• Consumable stock is to be rotated to ensure use within the required date.
• GLP and GMP requirements are interpreted and applied in the laboratory, and test environment as well as the separate production environment.
• Maintain Safety, Health, and Environmental Standards.
