The Danish Refugee Council, a leading humanitarian organization, is seeking a highly motivated HR intern for its operations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Position 1: Finance and Admin Assistant  

Experience and Technical Skills:  
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in finance or accounting.

• Prior work experience with NGOs or humanitarian organizations is an advantage.

• Experience in bookkeeping, cash management, and payment processing.

• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a multicultural environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy.

Education:  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a Related Field from a University or Higher Education Institution.

Language:  
• Excellent skills in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Position 2: HR and Admin Assistant  

Experience and Technical Skills:  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar field.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., DYN) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Solid understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and administrative procedures.

• Experience with HR practices, staff coordination, and logistics is preferred.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask under pressure.

Education:  
• Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification.

Language:  
• Advanced spoken and written English.

• Proficiency in Amharic is preferred.

Position 3: Supply Chain Assistant  

Experience and Technical Skills:  
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in humanitarian logistics management, including supply chain, fleet, asset management, and distribution support.

• Knowledge and experience in working with service providers and contractors.

• High integrity, proactive, stable, and team-oriented character.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Experience in NGOs.

• Proven commitment to accountability practices.

• Familiarity with computers, including word processing and database management software.

Education:  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant field.

Language:  
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Duty Station: Humera, Ethiopia

Position 4: Support Service Team Leader  

Experience and Technical Skills:  
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong experience in finance, HR, administration, and supply chain management.

• Experience in budget planning, donor reporting, and compliance.

• Experience working with major humanitarian donors such as UN Agencies, ECHO, USAID, FCDO, SDC, etc.

• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education:  
• Master’s degree (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, management, or a related field.

Language:  
• Excellent skills in speaking, reading, and writing English.
