Ethiopian Railways Corporation invites Fresh graduates and qualified candidates for the following positions.
Ethiopian Railway, commonly known as ER, full name Ethiopian Railway Corporation, is the public railway operator of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, under the regulation of the Ministry of Transport. ERC operates passenger and freight transport.
The Ethiopian Railways Corporation (ERC) was established on 20 November 2007 by regulation 141/2007 of the Council of Ministers of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The regulation mandates ERC to develop road structures and provide passenger and freight rail transportation services in Ethiopia.
ERC has developed railway projects on eight corridors in the country that have been identified as necessary to enhance both the social and advantageous requirements.
Position 1: Inventory Control Officer III
Required Qualification MA/ BA Degree in Low, Civics, Ethical Education sociology, mgt, public relation or related
Work Experience 2/4 years experience
Position 2: Construction Supervisor
Required Qualification MSc/ BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or related Fields
Work Experience 5/7 Years of Proven experience as a construction Engineer and 3 years as a construction Engineer in a Bridge Construction Project
Position 3: Plant/ Equipment Manager
Required Qualification Diploma or Above in Auto mechanics or another affiliated field
Work Experience 5 Years of Proven experience in plant/ equipment management
Position 4: Pavement/ Material Engineer
Required Qualification BSc or above in civil engineering or related fields
Work Experience 5 Years of Proven experience in Road and bridge construction from which 3 years as pavement/ material Engineer
Position 5: Structural Engineer
Required Qualification BSc in Civil Engineering or related Field
Work Experience 8 Years of Proven experience as a structural engineer from which 5 years of bridge construction

Position 6: Project Engineer
needed Qualification MSc/ BSc Degree in Construction Management, Highway/ Bridge/ Civil Engineering, Or Related Fields
Work Experience 5/7 years of experience in road and bridge construction from which 3 years as a project engineer
Position 7: Project Manager
Required Qualification MSc/ BSc Degree in Civil Eng. Construction Management, Highway/ Bridge/ Civil Engineering, or related Fields.
Work Experience 6/8 Years of experience in Road and Bridge Construction from which 5 years as a project manager
