As the only laboratory in Ethiopia accredited by the USA-based Joint Commission International (JCI) five times in a row, we offer world-class clinical facilities and more than 300 advanced diagnostic tests.
ICL is currently seeking qualified and competent individuals to fill the following positions within the Business Development Department:
Position 1: Specimen Collection Technician
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with 0 years of work experience and a renewed license
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician with 2 years of work experience and a renewed license
Required Skills:
- Competent in phlebotomy and sample collection
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to use positive language
- Strong time management skills
- Willingness to improve and motivated for self-development
- Proficient in Amharic, English, and other local languages
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Client Service Representative
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field, preferably in medical laboratory science
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Required Skills:
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and take personal accountability
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of honesty and integrity
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Receptionist/Clerk
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Health Science and Accounting
- Ability to communicate effectively in Amharic, English, and other local languages
- Proven experience in customer communication and handling, with at least one year of experience in a reception role

- More than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
Required Skills:
- Computer literate with basic office software skills
- Competent in phlebotomy and sample collection
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to use positive language
- Attentiveness, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong time management skills
- Solid coordination and supervision abilities
- Good leadership and teamwork ethic
- Willingness to improve and motivated for self-development
- Proficient in Amharic and English languages
