Available Positions
Position 1: Cashier Storekeeper – Gambella
Education: Diploma or degree in accounting, business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in similar roles, preferably in food assistance projects.
• Responsibilities: Handle petty cash, process payments, prepare deposit vouchers, manage financial assets, and oversee material supplies.
• Skills: Strong communication, computer literacy, and willingness to travel.
Position 2: Finance Officer – Gambella
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in finance for relief or emergency programs.
• Responsibilities: Manage petty cash, process supplier payments, prepare donor financial reports, track grant expenditures, perform bank reconciliations, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Skills: Supervisory skills, knowledge of donor regulations, problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and fluency in English and local languages.
Position 3: Assistant Storekeeper – Gambella
: Diploma or degree in accounting, business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Responsibilities: Assist in handling commodities, reconcile stock records, maintain warehouse cleanliness, train porters, and inspect materials during dispatch.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of commodity management, and experience with INGOs.
Position 4: Field Security Coordinator – Mekele
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; police or law enforcement training is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in security roles (NGO, UN, public or private sector).
• Responsibilities: Develop and implement security strategies, conduct risk assessments, manage crisis response, represent World Vision in security networks, build staff capacity, and report incidents.
• Skills: First aid knowledge, radio/satellite communication skills, ability to train staff, professional conduct, and possession of a valid passport and driver’s license.
Position 5: Storekeeper – Gambella
Education: Diploma or degree in accounting, business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in similar positions.
• Responsibilities: Manage the receiving and issuing of commodities, reconcile stock records, maintain filing systems, and ensure proper documentation.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of commodity management, and experience with INGOs
Position 6: Commodity Officer – Gambella
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: 3–4 years of experience in food assistance programs, preferably in NGOs.
• Responsibilities: Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of food commodities, ensure compliance with WFP standards, maintain documentation, train storekeepers, monitor warehouses, and prepare reports.
• Skills: Knowledge of GACAP, emergency food resource management, leadership abilities, communication skills, and experience with INGOs.
