Position 3 Internal Auditor
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Plan financial and functional review audits that are identified through monthly risk assessments.
Design and update the audit guidelines and procedures and ensure their implementation.
Verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing ways by inspection procedures.
Evaluate the adequacy and quality of internal functional controls( systems, practice, processes) and recommend improvements. Follow-up on the results of audit work is documented by applicable inspection norms. dissect and conclude on the effectiveness and efficiency of the control system.
Oversee the identification of opportunities for improving business processes, grounded on inspection outcomes, to minimize risks. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings. Share in the disquisition audit as needed by the CEO Work nearly with Externals when they assess the platform.
Conduct internal audits for and its partner organizations by the periodic risk-based audit plan; communicate findings and recommendations to applicable auditee management members.
Conduct Data Quality Audit( DQA) on performance indicators of company operations.
Identifying and evaluating the organization’s risk areas and providing input to the development of the periodic audit plan. Attend daily stock counts Organize Ethics anti-fraud trainings and evaluate the awareness of the trainees.
Carry out scheduled as well as improvisational/ spot check audits and surprise cash count as and when deemed necessary; prepare periodic reports for discussion with supervisors Job Requirement Master’s degree in account, Finance, Business Management, or holder of International Professional instruments similar as CIA, with six (5) years of demonstrated experience out of which three( 2) years in Administrative level OR Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Management, or holder of International professional certifications similar as CIA, with eight( 6) years of demonstrated experience of which four( 3) years at Administrative level. complete in MS Office applications complete in English and Amharic language, both written and verbal communication Familiarity with IFRS Audit standard and Company IFRS implementation procedure Familiarity with the use of Enterprise Resource Planning or( ERP) software Familiarity with System Audit procedure.
