Kurmuk Gold Mine PLC is a subsidiary of Allied Gold Corp which is a global company with offices in Dubai, UAE and Perth, Australia and has different mine projects in Mali, cote d’ivoire as well as Ethiopia. KGM is the Ethiopian project with a Large- Scale Gold Mining License and three  conterminous Exploration Licenses. All licenses are located in western Ethiopia approximately 750 km from Addis Ababa, or about 90 km north- west of Assosa town in Benishangul Gumuze Regional State. KGM has been using foreign consultants and original professional support staff to carry out all the exploration and mining activities. The company currently has created job opportunity for  further than 200 Ethiopians and expects to employ,500 people during the construction and operation of the mining activities. Position – Civil Engineer  

Qualifications BSc in Civil Engineering or affiliated fields  

Work Experience elderly level (5 year work experience in same position or  affiliated).  

Duty Station – Benshangul Gumuz, Asosa Zone, Kurmuk Woreda Project Site – Fly In/ Fly out roster( 6/ 2weeks)

Brief outline of duties  

Designing, structure, supervising, operating, and maintaining large construction projects and systems, similar as roads, airports, buildings, tunnels, bridges, water  force, drainage systems, dams, and other  activities to support gold mining and exploration projects of the company.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities  Developing detailed designs.  

Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections.  

Preparing and implementing project plans. Researching and providing estimates for  systems.  

Reviewing government regulations and  bills. Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and nonsupervisory compliance.  

Making recommendations or presenting indispensable solutions to problems.  

Project management duties(e.g., managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc  Terms of Employment endless after exploration period.  

Salary Negotiable & seductive (Industry related & adequately compensated for the location).  

Skills  Planning and organizing skills  Strong specialized, math, and science skills  Familiarity with design software, similar as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.  

Strong  logical and critical thinking chops, with a high position of accuracy in calculations and design.  

Excellent time  operation chops to ensure  design deadlines are met.  

Ability to coordinate  further than one project at a time
