National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is an independent organization established in accordance with Article 102 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Since its establishment, the Board has organized different branch offices at both the civil and indigenous levels including the two executive metropolises. The NEBE has conducted five public elections, two original choices, and six referendums.
Since January 2019, in an effort to reform NEBE, the House of Peoples’ Representatives enacted a new proclamation that reduced the management board to five members who serve full-time for a period of six years. According to Proclamation No. 1133/2019, the board has the following powers and duties.
Position 1: Media Monitoring Expert
Education and Work Experience
• Master or BA degree in Journalism, Communication, Statistics, or any other applicable fields
• 5 years for Masters or 7 years for BA
Mandatory training and certification
• News features, Statistics
Knowledge
• Knowledge of Media monitoring tools
• Knowledge of data interpretation
• Report writing skills

Position 2: Asset Management Expert
Education and Work Experience
• MA or BA degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Logistics, or accounting field.
• 7 years and Bachelor| 5 years and Master in related position
Knowledge
• Knowledge of the people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches, and models
• Supply Chain & logistics concepts and application( Ethiopian Labour Law and employment-related regulations, Property administration Policies, procedures, ultramodern practices, approaches and trends)
• Shall know IF- MIS & EREP Software training.
• Mandatory training on Team leadership, change management, mortal resource management
• know how to perform analysis and interpretation of data
• Ability to manage time
• 100 accurate data entry and order processing
• Relationship building and communication
• Maximizing customer sanctification through teamwork
• Persuasion
• Not a member of a political party.

Position 3: ICT Network Administration Expert
Education and Work Experience
• MA or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 years and Bachelor| 5 years and Masters on Hands-on experience with networking hardware and software( e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Certification in a network-related professional is desirable
Know- How( Skills)( Technical competencies)
• Understanding of TCP/ IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with specialized and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of network security stylish practices and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud services and virtualized environments.
• Proficiency in colorful operating systems, particularly Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.
• Experience with network monitoring tools( e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds
• introductory knowledge of scripting languages( e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
• Strong skills in documenting network configurations, policies, and procedures.

Position 4: Head, HRM department
Education and Work Experience
• MA degree or PhD in HRM or Management Business administration or Business management or public administration and development management
• 10 years for Masters or 8 years for PHD( 4 years in leadership position) In HR administration or development related job positions
Knowledge
• Knowledge of the people aspect of Change management methodologies, approaches, and models
• mortal Resource concepts and application( Ethiopian Labour Law and employment-related regulations, HR Policies, procedures, ultramodern practices, approaches and trends)

• Master or BA degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, management, Economics, purchasing and supplies management, Marketing, or other applicable studies
• 9 years for BA Degrees or 7 years for Masters( 4 years in a leadership position)
• In procurement and contract administration-related job positions
obligatory training and certification
• Public Procurement Administration Advanced Level Professionalization Training, IMIS Purchasing Modul,e-GP, Team leadership, and professional certifications like a certified professional in Supply Management( CPSM) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply( CIPS).
