Omo Bank is seeking qualified candidates for several job openings. Omo Microfinance is making progress in its plan to transition into a full bank, following similar moves by Amhara and Oromia saving and credit institutions.
Omo was among the top five largest microfinance institutions in Ethiopia, along with Amhara, Oromia, Addis, and Dedebit.
Together, these five institutions hold 82.6 percent of the total capital, 90 percent of the savings, and 85.9 percent of the credit in the microfinance market. Last year, Omo collected over seven billion birr in deposits, bringing the total to 36 billion birr.
Position 1: Procurement Officer I
• Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Procurement & Supply Management, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field
• Work Experience: Two years of general work experience

Position 2: Underwriting Officer II
