Plan International Ethiopia will also continue low presence in Somali and Tigray. likewise, if there's a public- level emergency crisis in the country Plan International Ethiopia will respond quickly, effectively, and at a significant scale, even in areas where we are n't present.  

Position 1: TSFP Nurse  

The job holder provide support to, PIE’s supported TSFP Nurse activities of the government, in all kebeles of each target woredas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality Moderate Acute Malnutrition Management cases (MAM), and follow- up services to target beneficiaries through ensuring adherence to  public and  transnational MAM case management protocol

Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion( GEI)  

  • Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the applicable procedures. 
  • Ensures that all staff signed safeguarding  programs;
  • apply Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.  

The Individual  

Education Bsc Nursing Degree/ parchment from a recognized health college. 

  • Minimumn three years’ experience with INGO NGO of Infant and  youthful Child Feeding practices treatment of glutted children in nutrition program (TSFP) perpetration – case definition and care, clinical management, TSFP management, data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health workers, etc

Languages required 

  • Good written and spoken of the original language (Afaan Oromo) to the area mandatory in addition to English.

Position 2: Nutrition Assistant/ Measurer  

The Opportunity 

  • The job holder provides to supports to TSFP, OTP/ SC conditioning of the government, in all kebeles of each target woredas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality management of Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) IN TSFP, out-patient  remedial (OTP) and in- patient care of SAM case management, and follow- up services to target beneficiaries through ensuring adherence to public and  transnational MAM case management protocols.

Minimum three years’ experience post qualification and with valid registration/ practicing license and experience in nutrition program( TSFP) implementation – case definition and care, TSFP management, data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health volunteers, etc. 

Work experience in Health Service Extension Program is an asset.  

Languages required 

  • Good written and spoken of the original language (Afaan Oromo) to the area  obligatory in addition to English.

Position 3: Log Assistant – Warehouse and Asset  

The Opportunity 

  • The storekeeper is responsible for all warehouse operations conditioning including receipt, storage, control, and issuance of supplies and equipment; receives deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of fixed assets records the property of the PA; responsible for inventory maintenance for ER programs and does related work as required. He she is responsible for storing, releasing, compiles records of the supply in construction and other program activities. Verifies that supplies received are listed on importunities and invoices. The post holder also plans, organizes, and controls stores stocks in a professional manner icing prompt, effective and quality service to the concerned units including but not limited to ordering,  entering, storing, issuing, and securing food andnon-food items as per the location requirements, contractual specifications and in line with store and fixed assets management instructions.

Education BA/ Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supplies Management, and/ or other related disciplines. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience. 
  • At least two years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, stock control, or related work in INGO  

Languages required 

  • Excellent English verbal and spoken skills. 
  • Knowledge of original language( Afan Oromoo) will be an asset.
