People in Need is a non-governmental, non-profit organization innovated on the ideals of humanism, freedom, equality, and solidarity. We consider moral quality and freedom to be abecedarian values. We believe that people anywhere in the world should have the right to make decisions about their lives and to share the rights expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The People in Need organization was established in 1992 by a group of Czech war reporters who were no longer satisfied with simply relaying information about ongoing conflicts and began sending out aid. It gradationally became established as a professional philanthropic organization striving to provide aid in worried regions and support adherence to human rights around the world.
Position: IT Intern
Job Requirements
Minimum BA degree in Computer Science Technology and Information Systems and other related fields of study from a recognized advanced education institution
Only Graduates of 2024 or 2025 E.C
Only zero years of work experience required
Good interpersonal communication skills
Installing and reinstalling operating system
Installing software and software updates
Connecting customer stations to network resources
Setting up and maintaining sustainable protection against vicious software (viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, etc.)
Good judgment regarding confidentiality and respect for sensitive materials
Only womanish seeker
Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
Three strong references will be cross-checked and contacted.
Salary: 6,500 ETB
The position will be based in the Hawassa Sidama Region, with frequent field trips to Leg's project spots in different regions as needed.
