Premier Switch SolutionsS.C.( PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks in Ethiopia.  PSS is a consortium owned by six private banks i.e., Awash International Bank, Nib International Bank, United Bank, Berhan International Bank, Addis International Bank, and Cooperative Bank of Oromia.  The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking, and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/ Credit card transactions for the banks.  Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualifications and required experience listed for this job opening. 

Position 1 Senior Internal Auditor  

Qualifications & Work Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, MIS, or applicable field.  

• At least 5 years ’ applicable experience in a busy inspection office.  

• Training on fiscal inspection and information system inspection is preferable.  

• Professional instrument in ACCA/ CISA/ CIA is profitable.  

Description of Duties  

• Involve in the expression and perpetration of the inspection strategy.  

• Involve in the development of audit charter, programs, framework, and procedures for Audit function and lead in their implementation through the nonstop review.  

• Involve in the development of periodic risk-based internal inspection plans and the development of audit programs.  

• Conduct regular audits of all offices to ensure that up-to-date fiscal records are kept and that approved management and finance procedures are followed.  

• estimate the association systems and applications are controlled,  dependable, effective, secure, and effective.  

• Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and functional effectiveness, determine risk exposure, and suggest remediation strategies.  

• Conduct IT audits and reviews of systems, applications, and IT processes.  

• Perform pre and post-implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements.  

• Conduct IT security audits(e.g. network, operating system, and data- center), including evaluating if security vulnerabilities are properly identified and mitigated. Coordinate the scope and performance of these reviews with business units and external security experts.  

• Assess risk, evaluate internal controls, review financial and functional systems, and estimate standards of business conduct while ensuring compliance with applicable laws,  programs, and procedures.  

• Examine and analyze all accounting records, documents, and systems of the organization to ensure financial recording, accuracy, and compliance with established transnational norms, statutory requirements, procedures, and internal controls. 

• Carry out compliance inspection for the organization to ensure its compliance with the National Bank of Ethiopia, the legal and statutory requirements of the country.  

• ensure a proper system of attestation of  inspection work papers tests for evidence and reference when required  

• Ensure proper application of resources and ensure their optimal use  

• Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend ways to improve internal controls  

• Follow up on findings and recommendations agreed upon during internal audits to ensure they're implemented by the audit reports;  

• Prepare periodic rectification reports 

• Making follow-up on rectifications and confirming that corrective actions are taken as per Audit recommendations.  

• Conduct the special investigation as assigned.  

• Report audit findings.  

• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of employees within the department toward effective career development.  

• Involve in the preparation of the budget for the unit.  

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.  

Position 2 Senior System Administrator  

Qualification & Work Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.  

• At least 5 years ’ applicable experience.  

• Training in Linux and Solaris, Storage management, and web technologies is preferable  

• Experience in managing and administering servers and storage systems is preferable.  

Description of Duties  

• Involve in the implementation of the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure and surrounding system administration.  

• Manage the implementation of the IT policy, procedures, and documents.  

• Perform the design, setup, installation, integration, and operation of the system to meet the business ’ conditions.  

• Manage all waiters, backup devices, operating systems, and environmental systems that are installed, configured and always functioning optimally.  

• Manage and cover all servers and storage  

• Perform corrective and periodic preventative conservation of system equipment.  

• Perform cleaning and dust  junking of the servers and storage  

• Work with vendors and monitor all system infrastructure support activities.  

• Manage the delivery of systems and other projects.  

• Conduct periodic system infrastructure performance metrics.  

• Involve in the design of system capacity planning and build business continuity.  

• Involve in the prosecution of upgrade and migration of system architectures.  

• Manage high availability, confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of system infrastructure.  

• Provide support services to users within established SLAs;  

• Work with all applicable IT and other work units in the group.  

• Involve in research of system technologies and standards like servers and storage  

• Build a knowledge base from the lessons learned.  

• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of employees within the department toward effective career development.  

• Prepare periodic reports.  

• Attend incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment  

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.  

Position 3 Senior Software Developer  

Qualification & Work Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.  

• At least 5 years of experience in software development and coding  

• Training in software development and database management system  

• Experience in programming languages similar to C, JavaScript, Python, PHP, SQL, etc.  

• Experience in writing SQL queries for standard Relational Database Management systems.  

• Real-world experience in web-based software application development and deployment.  

Description of Duties  

• Involve in the development of policies, procedures, and work processes for the software development business and lead in their implementation through the nonstop review.  

• Involve in software development project feasibility study.  

• Involve in business requirement gathering, design software architecture, lead software coding, testing, and commissioning.  

• Involve in the selection of software development framework and tools and ensure the harmonious application as per the policy.  

• Write and implement effective codes  

• Maintain and upgrade existing software  

• Executing test scripts and reviewing results  

• Report and document specialized issues  

• Apply specialized and quality standards that are respected and reinforced throughout the software development lifecycle.  

• Plan, test, and review software and ensure alignment with users ’ needs  

• Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications.  

• Ensure the developed software, codes, patches, versions, and releases are well documented and controlled.  

• Ensure the proper maintenance and storage of source codes.  

• Manage escalated software support services to users within established SLAs.  

• Investigate software-related complaints, and new requirements and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance as per the need of a customer.  

• Design work project plan to successfully deliver software development projects.  

• Work closely with the hardware and software support work unit to provide effective support services as per the agreed SLA.  

• Prepare training and user guide materials for developed software and conduct training.  

• Conduct performance metrics.  

• Keep up to date with industry software trends and technology development  

• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of employees within the department toward effective career development.  

• Prepare periodic reports  

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
