Seed Microfinance Institution S.C.is a new organization that has recently begun operations in the microfinance sector.It was set up following Proclamation No.626/2009 and its amendment, Proclamation No.1164/2019.
Seed Microfinance Institution S.C. is seeking to hire a service provider or a team of experts to develop comprehensive policies, procedure manuals, a five-year strategic plan, an organizational structure, and a salary scale for the institution.
Position 1: Company Secretary
Job Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification and experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA) with two years of experience or a Level IV certificate with no experience required.
- Field of study: Law, Human Resources, Accounting and Finance, Secretary Science, Office Management, or related disciplines.
Duty Station: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 2: Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance Senior Officer
Job Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification and experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA) with five years of experience or a Master's degree (MA) or MBA with four years of experience.
At least two of these years should be in a senior or supervisory role.
- Field of study: Management, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
Duty Station: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 3: Internal Audit and Service Head
Job Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification and experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA) with six years of experience or a Master's degree (MA) or MBA with four years of experience.
At least three of these years should be in a senior or supervisory role.
- Field of study: Management, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
Duty Station: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 4: Finance Manager
Job Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification and experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA) with six years of experience or a Master's degree (MA) with four years of experience.
At least three of these years should be in a senior or supervisory role within the microfinance or banking sector.
- Field of study: Accounting and Finance or related disciplines.
- Mandatory requirement: Experience and training in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Duty Station: Head Office, Addis Ababa
