ANNOUNCEMENT Siqqee women’s Development Association (SWDA) is a non for profit Organization founded in 1997 with the strong conviction that poor women can control their livelihoods and their futures when assisted in their self- help efforts and ultimately empowered.  Hence, SWDA’s vision which is “ to see  underprivileged and marginalized women; girls and children in Ethiopia live with dignity and security ” and desires to see reconciled, just and prosperous society where women have equal treatment with that of men.  

POSITION 1-SOCIAL WORKER  

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

– BA Degree in Psychology/ Social Work or MA Degree in Social Work Psychology from a  honored academic program/ institute  

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years for BA Degree & 1 years for MA in applicable field of study out of which at least 1 year is NGO experience on analogous position  

SEX: Female  

Required NUMBER - 1 (one)  

PLACE OF WORK – Sebeta City Administration  

SALARY – Negotiable  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

– One year contract, with possibility of extension based on performance evaluation result and availability of fund Computer skill Excel, power point and word. Knowledge of statistical software’s like SPSS and STATA  

Language Fluent in English and Afan Oromo (both written and spoken) 

Other skills  

• project preparation, Report and proposal writing skills.
