SOS Sahel Ethiopia inclusively with Society for Education, Environment & Development (SEED), and Women Empowerment – Action (WE- Action) obtained fiscal assistance from UN OCHA to implement a venture entitled “ Response to Integrated GBV case management, support in East and Horo Guduro Wollega Zones of Kiremu, Sasiga, Gida Ayana, Jarte Jardaga, Amuru & Horo Buluk Districts of Oromia Region ”. Position 1 Gender and Protection Officer  

Job Purpose/ Summary 

The Gender and Protection Office will assist the program in offering specialized support to survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence( SGBV) and at-risk girls and ladies to empower them in assembling their speedy wants and supporting their restoration process. 

Conduct repeatedly gender, safety, and incapacity evaluation, community mapping, and security audits to determine and handle entry and financial boundaries to the group’s safety in this system.  

Specific duties and tasks 

Capacity building of employees and some other co-implementing companions that the venture will work within this system and response to advertise the native capability.

Qualifications and Skills 

Minimum of.Sc/ BA Degree in Social Science (Sociology & Social Administration), Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or related fields of studies with a minimum of three years of previous work experience providing gender delicate and child-friendly providers.  

NB * Knowledge of native languages – Afaan Oromo is required.  

Position 2 Community Development Officer (4 Officers)  

Duties & Responsibilities 

Work out all duty assignments related to the emergency program, 

Lead and execute emergency interventions within the chosen targets in full and well-timed method, 

Build a purposeful relationship with counterparts( implementing partners, authorities, group), 

Work hard with the project crew and government counterparts to achieve the venture's aims.

Qualifications and Skills

Position 3 Finance Officer  

Duties and Responsibilities 

Supports program staff with finances administration and financial evaluation, manages expenditures( together with procurement), accruals, value projections, and allocations, to make sure the success of this system aims inside the cluster and compliance with MasterCard’s and SOSSE’s financial insurance policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Coordinate with the Finance Officer to ensure that the secure box has enough money for each cost, 

Prepare cost sheets,pre-count, schedule, arrange, and execute every cost,
