TAF OIL PLC is a private limited company certified by the ministry of trade and industry of the FDRE government. The company was established on March 2010 and enters the petroleum business in 2011. TAF joined the oil industry in order to cater the ever increasing energy demand of the country and to be the dependable choice in the industry. TAF starts the business by mobilizing a full team of professionals and acquiring original and  transnational experience in the industry. The company supplies fuels and different types of lubricants by constructing depots and fuel stations in different parts of the country especially in areas where there's unmet demand and supply shortages.As its core business, our company sells & distributes different type of energies( i.e Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene), Automotive & Industrial Lubricants, Greases, Light Fuel Oil (LFO), Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), LPG and Bitumen for Automotive, Construction, Transportation, Industrial, Agricultural & Mining sectors.  

Position 1: Junior Accountant  

Key Responsibilities  

  1. Coordinate inventory reporting of receipt and consumption activities 
  2. Record all inventory related documents and reconcile balances on yearly basis 
  3. Inventory valuations and inventory reserve calculations 
  4. Assist with establishing internal controls 
  5. Review and reconcile GL vs subsidiary inventory accounts
  6. Review journal entries during month- end  ending 
  7. Reconcile yearly cycle counts andsemi-annual physical counts to the perpetual inventory ledger  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field 
  • Proven experience of 2 years in accounting and finance, with a focus on  fiscal reporting analysis
  • Experience in using ERPs( especially Sage 300( ACCPAC) is a plus 
  • Excellent  logical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Proven knowledge of how to use Microsoft office products( EXEL, Word) 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and  acclimatize to changing priorities in a fast- paced environment.  

Position 2: Senior Accountant  

Key Responsibilities 

  1. CK and reconcile Tax payment VS tally every month and approve CK declaration. 
  2. CK daily payment requests for completeness of supporting document, .
  3. Follow- up of payment requests processes from time they reach( accepted) until the payment reached the user( as per the time tale of payments). 
  4. Follow, Coach and Evaluate Disbursement team employees .
  5. Take sure all advance/ subspace given to employees are settled on time and prepare unsettled documents report daily and submit to film 
  6. CK and post payment recorded by JA.  
  7. CK and post settlement documents  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Proven experience of 3 years in accounting and finance, with a focus on  fiscal reporting analysis 
  • Experience in using ERPs (especially Sage 300( ACCPAC) is a plus 
  • Excellent  logical skills with attention to detail and  delicacy. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Position 3: Senior Accountant (Reporting)  

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Leasing with The GA and AR section and collect diurnal daily and yearly reports 
  2. Leasing with The  functional section and collect diurnal daily and yearly reports 
  3. Make sure all reports are delivered on timely basis and done accurately to the required standard 
  4. Submit reports by consolidating all reports that are collected and submit on time for the FM 
  5. Leasing with internal and external Auditors and prepare  inspection schedules  
  6. Assist the FM on planning and budget preparation 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field 
  • Proven experience of 3 years in accounting and finance, with a focus on  fiscal reporting analysis 
  • Experience in using ERPs( especially Sage 300( ACCPAC) is a plus

Position 4: General Accounts and Accounts delinquent section head  

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Prepare and analyze  fiscal statements on a yearly, daily, and periodic basis. 
  2. Follow and make sure all the companies receivables are cleared on time 
  3. Prepare diurnal cash conciliation and yearly bank conciliation  
  4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company programs .
  5. Provide insights and recommendations based on  fiscal analysis to support decision- making. 
  6. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Monitor and analyze account balances to identify disagreement or irregularities 
  7. Assist in external audits and nonsupervisory inspections, furnishing necessary documentation and explanations.  
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to inferior accounting staff.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 
  • Proven experience of 4 years in accounting and finance, with a focus on fiscal reporting analysis AR operations. 
  • Strong understanding of IFRS 
  • Experience in using ERPs( especially Sage 300( ACCPAC) is a plus) 
  • Excellent  logical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to mentor and develop team members.

Position 5: Website Administrator and Social Media Manager  

Educational Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Original work experience may be accepted in place of formal education. 
  • Certificates/ Diplomas in Web Development, Digital Marketing, or Social Media Strategy from accredited institutions can also be  precious. Professional Certifications( Highly Valued) 
  • Google Analytics Certification Demonstrates proficiency in website traffic analysis. 
  • HubSpot Content Marketing Certification or Hootsuite Social Media Certification Shows expertise in social media management and marketing. 
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification For managing and optimizing Facebook and Instagram campaigns. 
  • SEO Certifications From platforms like SEMrush, Moz, or Yoast, useful for improving website visibility and ranking. 
  • pukka WordPress Expert Beneficial if the website is built on WordPress.

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate For DBAs working with Microsoft SQL Server in Azure environments. 
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) A must- have for Oracle database administrators.

Position 7: Software Developer

Educational Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A degree is commonly preferred, but original work experience and a strong portfolio may also be accepted in place of formal education. 
  • Self- taught developers with provable skills and projects (through GitHub repositories, open- source contributions, etc.) can also be considered.  Professional Certifications( Highly Valued) 
  • pukka Scrum Developer (CSD) For developers working in Agile or Scrum teams. 
  • Google Associate Android inventor or Apple Certified iOS inventor For mobile app development roles.  

Specialized Skills and Experience

Position 8: System Administrator

Educational Requirements

  • Industry-Specific Knowledge Familiarity with the oil and gas or distribution industries is a plus, as these industries may have specialized software and nonsupervisory requirements.  

Professional Certifications( Highly Valued) 

  • CompTIA Network or CompTIA Security Foundational certifications in networking and cybersecurity. 
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) Valuable if the environment involves virtualization or remote desktop services.

  • Sage 300 ERP Certification Certification specific to Sage 300 can demonstrate expertise in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting the software. 
  • Microsoft SQL Server Certification( e.g., MCSA or MCSE) Sage 300 uses Microsoft SQL Server, so experience in database management is  pivotal.
