Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD), an indigenous civil society organization, has been dedicated to community development in Addis Ababa, Oromia, South Ethiopia and Sidama for over 27 years. TSD is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions  

Position 1: Finance Officer  

Key Role The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial operations of the indigenous office of the association, ensuring accurate financial record- keeping, budget management, and compliance with financial  programs and regulations. This part involves recycling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and furnishing support to the finance and program teams to ensure effective financial management.  

Qualifications 

Education BA/ master’s degree in accounting and finance 

Experience 4/2 years in accounting and finance works within the non- profit sector, including 1- 2 years directly in finance.  

Job Grade and Section G3- S1  Reporting to Finance Manager 

Contract Duration 1 year with possible extension grounded on good performance.  

Location Shashemene Regional Office, with frequent travel to project sites.  

Employment Type Full- time  Salary Negotiable  

Position 2: IT support Officer 

Key Role The IT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining the organization’s information technology systems, providing specialized support to staff, and ensuring the effective operation of hardware, software, and networks. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing IT  structure, and supporting the association’s technological requirements.  

Qualifications 

Education BSc degree in Information technology and computer science. 

Experience 2 years in information technology and computer science works within thenon-profit sector, including 1 year directly in the position.  

Contract Duration maternity leave cover 

Location Addis Ababa, with frequent travel to project sites.  

Employment Type Full- time

Position 3: Finance Officer 

Education BA/ Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance.  

Experience 4/2 years in accounting and finance works within the non- profit sector, including 1- 2 years directly in finance.

Position 4: Project Coordinator  

Key Role The Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, perpetration, and monitoring of specific systems within the association. This part involves coordinating design conditioning, managing coffers, ensuring compliance with donor conditions, and easing communication among stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.  

Qualifications 

Education BA/ Master’s degree in Social lores, Development Studies and other related. 

Experience 4/2 years in project management within thenon-profit sector, including 1- 2 years in leadership.  

Contract Duration 1 year with possible extension based on performance.  

Location Addis Ababa, with frequent  trip to design spots.  

Employment Type Full- time

Position 5: Grant and Compliance Officer  

Key Role The subventions and Compliance fellow will oversee the association’s grant- related conditioning,  icing adherence to donor requirements and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role encompasses grant offer coordination, agreement management, compliance monitoring, and providing support to program teams to ensure successful grant outcomes. 

Education BA/ Master’s degree in in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Experience 5/3 years in finance, grant and compliance management within thenon-profit sector, including 1- 2 years directly in the position.  Contract Duration 1 year with possible extension based on performance.  

Location Addis Ababa, with limited travel
