Position Branch Accountant
Major Duties and Responsibilities – Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date and well-kept accounting books and information –
• Handle and guarantee the department’s diurnal financial transactions ( funds, collections, money withdrawal & deposition in banks, saving recessions, money depend, and numerous others.) are harmonious with financial coverage and process of the establishment.
• Ensures timely and correct daily & month- to- monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts of the department and takes immediate motion on reconciling objects
• Ensures observance of policies within the preparation of funds, deposits, petty money, and vouchers
• Ensures that the accounting books, records, mortgage paperwork. of the MFI department are correctly filed and stored for environment-friendly retrieval and use;
• Signs and counter signs on all financial paperwork and statements with the Branch supervisor.
Prepare and help for each inside and exterior audit –
• Provides help in any audit or examination to be performed by the exterior or inside auditor, authorities nonsupervisory agencies in addition to different events duly licensed by the Board of Directors or the CEO to conduct similar exercises;
• Facilitate availing of all obligatory documentation for department audit job and ensure that correct minutes are stored, signed, and correctly filed up on audit exit convention.
Maintain ample control techniques –
• Play inside control position of the branch workplace,i.e be certain that all financial and functional actions of the branch are in alignment with insurance policies and procedures of the establishment and nonsupervisory requirement

• Formulate fiscal finances and periodic plan of the department in coordination with the Branch manager; Responsible for department money movement forecasting and liquidity management of department office
Reporting –
• Ensure system-generated duties similar to EOM operating, backups,- and line information; scanned copies of mortgage paperwork are correctly dealt with & well timed reported.
• Promptly produces common financial and different experiences per coverage and process of the establishment;
• Produce for assessment month-to-month revenue, stability sheet, and money movement assertion of the pinnacle workplace.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, and Budgeting or related fields.
• Chartered accountant is an added advantage.
• 2 years for a bachelor's degree or 4 years ’ experience for a diploma in affiliated positions.
• Determined personality with initiative, perseverance, and the flexibility to motivate & handle a group.
• Capability and willingness to take accountability and an extremely advanced sense of integrity
• Ready to conform and dwell as important as and by the group's Ideals and Core Values.
• Be complete in Microsoft Office, Sun techniques, and awful use of Excel spreadsheets.
