Abay Bank S.C.is inviting qualified individuals to apply for various job positions.The bank has met all the requirements set by the National Bank of Ethiopia and was officially established on July 14, 2010, and began full banking operations on November 3, 2010.
Abay Bank aims to provide services across different economic sectors through its network of branches.
These services include support for domestic and international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction, and real estate.
Position 1: Administrative Assistant
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or Administrative Service Management.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree holders are required to have 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Diploma holders must have 4 years of relevant work experience.
Location: Head Office
Position 2: Branch Manager – Grade 1
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or any other business-related field.
Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in banking operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Location: Branches located in the Addis Ababa area
Position 3: Branch Manager – Grade 1
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or any other business-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in banking operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Location: Branches under Diredawa District, including Kulbi, Deder, Fugna Bira (East Hararge), Daruselam, and Aksa IFB (Jigjiga)
Language Preference: For the Deder and Fugna Bira branches, fluency in speaking and writing Afan Oromo is preferred.
Position 4: Branch Manager – Grade 2
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or any other business-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in banking operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Location: Mersa Branch
Salary: As per the bank's pay scale
