Addis Bank S.C. wants to recruit employees for the following vacant positions. AdB is established by diversified groups of shareholders, Cooperatives, microfinance institutions (MFIs), Iddirs, other business organizations, and individual citizens. The major shareholders of the Bank are Cooperatives and their members. The Cooperatives are mainly engaged in the provision of financial services, export business, manufacturing, and services. The members of the major shareholders are primarily low and middle-income citizens. The Micro Finance Institutions also address the financial requirements of the “ Unbanked ” citizens. Position 1: HR Clerk
Educational Qualifications: College Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Management or other closely related fields.
Work Experience Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in human resource management, preferably in the banking industry.
Job Summary
Under the close supervision of the supervisor, she is responsible for the overall HR Data administration, both in hard and soft copy, compiles and keeps personnel records and files; drafts letters and memos; assists in processing employment, placement, payroll, benefits, keeps personnel statistics, and performs other related tasks.

Position 2: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Senior Property Valuation Officer)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electro-Mechanical Engineering or other closely related fields. Work Experience: A minimum of 4 years of applicable experience, preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 2 years are in an officer position. Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Manager, Property Valuation Division, He or she is responsible for examining, analyzing, and valuing mechanical means offered as collateral for loans. This role prepares detailed, specialized reports, determines fair request values, and ensures the acceptability of pledged mechanical assets in alignment with the bank’s risk management framework. Additionally, the role manages the mechanical systems of bank structures, including data centers, ATMs, HVAC, and related structures.

Position 3: Principal Interest Free Banking Officer
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Accounting and Finance/ Economics or other closely related fields.
Work Experience: A minimum of 6 years of applicable experience in the banking sector, of which at least 2 years are in a senior officer position
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager, IFB Division; the star IFB Officer is responsible for the overall coordination of IFB activities in branches to meet the bank’s objectives; reviews branch reports, follows up implementation of rectification measures; reviews and certifies the opening and posterior operation of IFB customers’ accounts; monitor and follow- up that customers’ service of branches is availed effectively.

Position 4: Company Secretary
Educational Qualifications: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance/ Management/ Business Administration/ Commercial Law or other closely related fields.
Work Experience For Master’s degree holders, a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience, preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 2 years are in an administrator position or 3 years in a principal or original position.
For Bachelor’s degree holders, a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience, preferably in the banking sector, of which at least 4 years are in a supervisor position or 5 years in principal or original positions.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Company Secretary assists in ensuring the Bank’s compliance with legal, nonsupervisory, and governance requirements, serving as the main liaison between the Board of Directors, management, shareholders, and regulators. The role is responsible for organizing Board and Shareholder meetings, maintaining statutory records, ensuring timely nonsupervisory filings, and playing a premonitory role in commercial governance matters.

Position 5: Branch Manager I
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance/ Banking/ Management or other closely related fields.
Work Experience: A minimum of 7 years of applicable banking experience; out of this, 2 years in an administrative role or original positions.
Job Summary Under the supervision of the Director, District Office, the Branch Manager plans, organizes, directs and controls, activities of a Branch designated as small to medium; approves loans, overdraft facilities, original and foreign transfers within optional and approved limits; handles foreign exchange transactions; reviews business and financial background of loan and guarantee applicants; prepares reports on the activities of the branch.
