Role specific knowledge and experience
Education
- Advanced Education
- Degree level applicable education. Studying for a recognized accounting qualification desirable.
Essential
- Knowledge of statutory accounting principles and practices, including accruals and the impact of financial deals.
- Proven accounting experience.
- Advanced experience of Excel.
- SAP experience.
Desirable
- Experience of working in an international organisation and/ or applicable employer.
- Good level of understanding of applicable software
- Financial logical experience.
- Experience of managing high value debtors.
Role and Specific Skills
- Organised, disciplined and regular approach to work. Ability to work under pressure. Good time management and data management.
- Very good IT skills, particularly on Excel and Word.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, suitable to understand profit and loss computations and introductory finance,e.g., deprecation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash- flow, overheads,etc.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial data tonon-finance people, usingnon-technical language.
- Working in virtual teams.
