This five-year,$ 25- 50 million project aims to strengthen malaria laboratory individual capacity and improve case management in Ethiopia by addressing critical gaps and promoting stylish practices. Crucial objectives include enhancing stakeholder coordination, scaling up quality assurance systems, and training health professionals in malaria diagnosis. Position 1: Technical Director
Qualifications
• University degree( bachelor’s or advanced) in transnational development, public health, medicine, or a closely related field; master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of applicable work experience in malaria prevention and control.
• Experience working in Ethiopia, with deep knowledge of geo-political, ethical, artistic, and other considerations affecting programming in Ethiopia and the region.
• Strong ability to partner with the Government of Ethiopia to strengthen the capacity of host-country institutions and original organizations to identify and implement evidence-based vector control approaches, reducing the malaria burden and advancing toward elimination.
• Proven ability to build and maintain a strong, different, and cohesive team where all members are empowered and supported, including stakeholders and partners.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical and transparent practices and staff care.
• Strong interpersonal, representation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
• Fluency in English required

Position 2: Finance and Operations Director
Qualifications
• A university degree( bachelor’s or advanced) in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field; master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of applicable professional experience with adding responsibility, including experience on USAID or patron-funded contracts.
• Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex budgets.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Ethiopia’s operating environment, including registration, taxes, and labor law, preferred.
• Detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills to support activity implementation while ensuring compliance with required policies and protocols.

Position 3: Chief of Party
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in transnational development, public health/ health administration, medicine, supply chain management/ logistics, or a closely related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of applicable professional experience in a transnational development setting, with a focus on project implementation funded by USAID or other benefactors.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role( e.g., Chief of Party) managing complex donor-funded activities with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of USAID rules and regulations.
• Experience working in Ethiopia, with deep knowledge of geo-political, ethical, artistic, and other considerations affecting programming in Ethiopia and the region.
• Strong ability to partner with the Government of Ethiopia to strengthen host-country institutions and apply substantiation-based vector control approaches in support of malaria reduction and elimination.
• Proven ability to build and maintain a different, inclusive team, empowering stakeholders and partners.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical and transparent practices and staff care.
• Strong interpersonal, representation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
• Fluency in English required.

Position 4: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director
Qualifications
• A university degree (bachelor’s or advanced) in Public Health, Social Science, or a related discipline; master’s degree strongly preferred.
• At least five years of experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation activities for public health programs in developing countries, preferably on USAID-funded programs in Ethiopia or the region.
• Firm command of monitoring and evaluation principles and challenges related to improving the quality of intertwined service and support programs.
• In-depth knowledge of USAID reporting requirements.
• Proven experience assaying data and applying information to ameliorate design perpetration.
• Proficiency with statistical software similar to SPSS, STATA, or analogous tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication chops.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
• Ignorance in English needed.
