Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the ensuing position. Position 1: Human Rights Officer
Qualifications and Experience
- MA/ BA Degree in Law, Human Rights Law, International Law, Gender Studies, or related fields.
- 4 years of applicable experience for BA and 2 years of applicable experience for MA.
Computer knowledgeable
- Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous
- SALARY RANGE Gross yearly salary of ETB 22,989.00 – ETB 27,380.00 plus ETB 7,200.00 Housing allowance and ETB 2,200.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history
Location Mekle City Office
Position 2: Driver
Qualifications and Experience
- Applicable Driving license;
- High School graduate (10th grade complete);
- Diploma or Certificate in Auto mechanic is a plus;
- 2 years of experience working as a Driver. Field experience is a plus;
- Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other original languages is profitable.
- SALARY RANGE Gross yearly salary of ETB 7,915.00- ETB 9,162.00 plus ETB 3,600.00 Housing allowance and ETB 2,200.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history.

Position 3: City Office Head
Qualifications and Experience
- MA in Human Rights Law, LLM in Human Rights, LLM in International Law, LLM in Law (Public Law applicable to Human Rights). Candidates with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) but with exceptional experience can be considered.
- 6 years of applicable experience with MA
- Experience in management of resources
- Computer knowledgeable
- Knowledge of Amharic is required
- Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous
- SALARY RANGE; Gross yearly salary of ETB 40,109.00 – ETB 49,136.00 plus ETB 10,000.00 Housing allowance and ETB 2,200.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history
