Minimum Requirements
Medically fit to perform the required duties
Enjoys civil rights and permits for employment under the original law
BA degree in Management, Logistics Management, or a related field of study
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in an analogous position
Minimum English language competency ability to understand C2, read C2, speak C2, and write C2
High level of computer knowledge The following will be considered an asset
Additional degrees or training related to the position
Experience in the field with a transnational group or a political mission
Knowledge of the French language We offer We offer the post of Administrative Assistant in the Administration Section of the EU Delegation to Ethiopia.
Under this post, the recruited person will be attributed functions depending on the requirements of the Delegation. Upon recruitment, the successful candidate will occupy the specific job function as “ executive Assistant ” This job function may be changed by the needs of the Delegation. Under this job function, the successful candidate will serve as specialized staff whose duties and responsibilities shall include
Mission validation and settlement of mission expenses
Finding houses for aboriginal staff and concluding lease contract after HoA approval
Handling all executive processes for Lease contracts and filling the documents
Serve as a contact person in case of exigency
Follow-up of service contracts for cleaning, gardening, security, outfit maintenance, office maintenance and repairs, electrical workshop, fuel, and creator status
Liaise with government offices to deal with different matters
Enter data on Immogst
Management of ABAC asset
Follow HoD residence issues
Responsible for driver assignment/ Provisory person for some other Admin staff
