Position 1: Accountant (Junior Position)  

Job Summary:  
The Branch Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, daily reconciliation, and clear reporting.
The role contributes to team collaboration by participating in morning meetings and provides reliable financial information to build trust and avoid delays in service.

Qualification:  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:  
• 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting within financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:  
• Process all transactions, such as savings, withdrawals, transfers, and loan repayments, with complete accuracy and issue official receipts.

• Enter financial data in real time into the ERP/Core Banking system.

• Perform daily reconciliation of bank and member accounts to prepare for audits.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements such as balance sheets, trial balances, and performance reports.

• Open and maintain member accounts and professionally address inquiries.

• Inform members about Amigos’ financial products and digital services.

• Encourage members to save and deposit funds.

• Participate in marketing and community activities to attract new members.

Position 2: Member Services Officer (Intermediate Position)  

Job Summary:  
The Member Services Officer is responsible for managing the entire member experience, from joining to retention, ensuring smooth KYC compliance and consistent engagement.
The role also handles complaints, promotes product sales across departments, and connects branch activities with district strategies to provide a positive member experience.

Qualification:  
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cooperative Management, Marketing, Management, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:  
• 2 to 3 years of customer-facing or front-office experience in financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:  
• Serve as the main contact for new members, executing a full onboarding and orientation process.

• Verify and validate member documents in compliance with KYC, AML, and national cooperative regulations.

• Explain member rights, obligations, and product details clearly to build trust from the start.

• Actively engage members throughout their journey to prevent account inactivity.

• Understand member needs to promote the sale of Amigos’ financial products, including savings, micro-investments, and asset financing.

• Act as the main point of contact for resolving member issues and ensure that you resolve them within agreed-upon service-level agreements.

• Organize and promote local financial literacy programs for members.

• Address member concerns about information security and transaction safety through clear communication and education on internal controls and digital security.

Position 3: Loan Officer (Intermediate Position)  

Job Summary:  
The Loan Officer oversees the entire loan process, including credit assessment, timely disbursement, and maintaining the quality of the loan portfolio.
The role is a key expert in credit knowledge, promotes quick turnaround, and collaborates with collections to reduce overdue loans.

Qualification:  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperative Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Management, or a related field.

Experience:  
• 2 to 3 years of experience in credit analysis, lending operations, or customer credit management.

Key Responsibilities:  
• Conduct detailed credit risk assessments, appraisals, and evaluations of collateral for loan applications.

• Manage the entire loan process from giving out loans to recovering them.

• Develop and implement strategies to onboard new members and grow the institution's savings through field efforts, community programs, and marketing initiatives.

• Monitor loan performance daily to detect early signs of default.

• Implement immediate recovery or collection actions when needed.

• Act as the main point of contact for members, providing information on financial literacy, loan options, and savings products.

• Work closely with Financial Mobilization, Finance, and Member Service teams to provide a seamless experience for each member.

Position 4: Branch Manager  

Job Summary:  
The Branch Manager serves as the key leader responsible for guiding the growth of the branch, improving team performance, and ensuring high standards of operation.
The role involves expanding the loan portfolio, increasing deposits, maintaining strict compliance, and promoting a culture of trust and responsibility through consistent team coordination.

Qualification:  
• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:  
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.

• At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position.

Key Responsibilities:  
• Supervise the daily operations of the branch.

• Lead and support the professional development of the staff.

• Monitor financial performance and manage the budget effectively.

• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and internal policies.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with members.

• Help shape marketing and sales strategies tailored to the local context to support Amigos' growth.

• Participate in developing new products and services that Amigos offers.

• Prepare detailed reports for senior management for decision-making.
