Position 1National Project Officer  

Job Requirements  

Education 

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building technology, or related fields from an accredited academic institution.  

Experience 

  • A minimum of two years of applicable professional experience 
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities,  public/ international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations. 
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups; and, 
  • Previous work experience in transnational philanthropic organizations and non-government or government institutions organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage. 
  • Previous applicable professional experience in Shelter- NFIs Program.  

Languages 

  • Fluency in English and Amharic languages is required( oral and spoken).   
  • Working knowledge of any other public languages in Ethiopia will be an advantage.  

SkilIn-depthepth knowledge of the broad range of migration-related subject areas dealt with by the Organization; and,  'Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming. 

  • Knowledge of financial rules and regulations. 
  • Excellent functional, organization, oral, and communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues from different backgrounds. 
  • Knowledge and skills in design tools similar to AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Civil  CAD, etc. 
  • Strong computer skills, special hands-on experience in the usage of MF office suit in preparing reports and Bills of Quantities( BOQ)

Semera, Afar  Konso, South West Ethiopia Region  Bahir Dar, Amhara  

Job Requirements  

Educational Qualification 

  • High School diploma with five years of applicable experience; or, 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with three years of applicable professional experience.  Experience 
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities,  public/  transnational institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations; 
  • Experience in working with settlers, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups; and, 
  • previous work experience with international philanthropic organizations, and non-government or government institutions organization in multicultural settings is an advantage.  

Skills   

  • In-depth knowledge of the broad range of migration-related subject areas dealt with by the Organization; and,

Job Requirements  

Required Qualifications and Experience  

EDUCATION 

  • BA Degree or Diploma in Social Science or affiliated fields  

EXPERIENCE 

  • Five years of professional experience with a Diploma in the Travel/ Airline industry in the area of operations and coordinating the work of others. 
  • Three years of professional experience with a BA Degree in the Travel/ Airline industry in the area of operations and coordinating the work of others. 
  • previous Movement Operations, transportation-related, and/ or management experience a strong advantage. 
  • Experience with Movement Operations- related databases and systems( including iGATOR, MiMOSA, SAR, and Amadeus) is a strong advantage.

Position 6 Area Program Coordinator  

Job Conditions 

Required\ Education, training, license, registration, and certification 

  • BA/BSc Degree in Development Studies. An advanced degree in Social Sciences related to development work, HEA, and advocacy is preferred. A master's degree is an advantage.  

Required Professional Experience 

  • a minimum of 3 years’ experience with regards to the designing, planning, implementation, supervising, and reporting on integrated development,  exigency, and advocacy systems and at least 2 times ’ experience in managing complex subventions and programs projects with significant experience in overseeing large multi-year programs. 
  • Moreover, experience in insecure and hostile environments with complex conflict-driven IDP influx, safety and security management, etc
