Position 1: Agronomist (Top critical) 

Main Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Develops planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques, improving crop yield, and  working problems.  
  • Develops planting and irrigation schedules, budgets, and timelines. 
  • Researches and promotes agrarian strategies to counter the effects of changes in soil, climate, weather, and pest damage, 
  • Assesses crop production of the farm, 
  • Evaluates and improves seed quality, 
  • Carries out laboratory tests of soil, seed, and crop samples, 
  • Performs quality control for seed caliber and soil standards, 
  • Visits fields to collect seed, plant, and soil samples, 
  • Tests samples for nutritive deficiencies, diseases, or other changes, 
  • Conduct soil analyses and develop nutrient management plans, 
  • Recommend and oversee the application of fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other amendments to improve soil health, 
  • Assists with the plant sourcing, testing, and selection, 
  • Keeps detailed records regarding fields, customers, crops, and samples, 
  • Generates reports and presenting findings to management, clients, or other interested parties, 
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.  
  • Qualification and Skills 
  • BSc or MSc in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant science and related fields of studies.  

Experience

Position 2 Plant Protection Expert  

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designs and conducts periodic reviews and appraisals of the situation of plant pest and pesticide problems in the farm, 
  • Advice the farm manager on necessary actions to implement pest and pesticide management techniques, 
  • Prepare pest assessment schedule( Variety, Plot), 
  • Prepare pest assessment reports in type of pests, stage of the pest and/ or the attack level and submits the report daily for decision, 
  • Collect samples of unknown pests and weeds and submits for his nearest boss for identification, 
  • Assess the post spraying the pest control chemical efficacy, 
  • Keep records of sprayed plots and varieties regularly, 
  • Inspect the chemical scattering  exertion on the field and check the technic and condition of spraying, recommend corrective action. 
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor  

Qualification 

  • BSc in Agricultural engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture and Related fields of studies.

Position 3 Sales Supervisor  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Team Management Sales supervisors are responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives. They provide guidance, support and motivate the team members to achieve their sales targets. 
  • Monitoring the stock reconciliation being with the accountant. 
  • Monitoring sales collection on  diurnal base to ensure all the sold items amount are credited to the companies account. 
  • Providing a written to immediate  administrators report whenever there's stock shortage or overage with the sales teams and taking corrective action. 
  • Producing immediate written report when there's cash sales delay to sales and marketing department. 
  • Controlling and monitoring Daily, daily, yearly, daily and periodic sales of all plate van sales and Mercato shop. 
  • Territory Management Assigning home to which van sales should operate their diurnal operations to ensure proper coverage and distribution of products.
  • Performance evaluation Conducting regular performance evaluation of sales staffs.  

Qualification and Skills 

  • BA or MA Degree in Sales & marketing, Marketing, Management and related field of studies.

Position 4 Senior Stock and Cash Sales Officer  

Responsibility 

  • Monitor stock levels 
  • Conduct regular stock count for Addis Ababa Van sales and up count 
  • apply and maintain stock control procedure 
  • Prepare periodic reports on stock movements, and inventory levels. 
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards  

Qualification 

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Marketing management and other business related fields 
  • 4 years of work experience on Fast moving consumer goods products( FMCG).  

Skills 

  • Competence in Microsoft software’s( Excel, PowerPoint, word etc.).
  • Competence in Stock analysis.  

Location Head Office  

Position 5 Fleet Dispatcher  

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develops and revises transport service provision programs based on the service need of  colorful work units. 
  • Ensures there's job order raised and signed off before any vehicles are sent to the garage for routine  conservation or accidental form. 
  • Establishes the system of  preventative maintenance and repairs of all vehicles and accessories, ensuring that repairs meet manufacturer’s specifications. 
  • Facilitates the periodic specialized inspection of vehicles and  exchanges to be performed on time. 
  • Oversees regular individual checks of all vehicles and take action for timely and quality maintenance and repair. 
  • Ensures the security of all the vehicles of the company including but not limited to 
  • rranging tracking for all the cars within the fleet, engraving all their parts, etc. 
  • Monitors and ensures the routine and need- based maintenance of the vehicles in conjunction with the transport operation head. 
  • Follows up truck maintenance througn fleet-footed officer report. 
  • Analyzes thevehicles-wise cost of fueling, maintenance, and other recurring expenses pertaining to running of the fleet. 
  • Coordinates with driver supplier agency and concerned departments like Finance, Sales for smooth flow of activities. 
  • Supervises the maintenance of the vehicles. 
  • Checks that invoices received are accurate and is in line with job order and within budget. 
  • Sends timely report on the health of the fleets and other related issues arising from the fleet monitoring system.  

Qualification and Skills 

  • BA degree in Supplies Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Management, Management Information System, or related fields.  

Experience 

  • 3 years’ experience  

Skills 

  • Computer literacy,  complete in Microsoft Word, Excel. 
  • Excellent verbal and spoken communication skills.
