National Election Board of Ethiopia
National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is an independent organization established in accordance with Article 102 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Since its establishment, the Board has organized different branch offices at both the civil and indigenous levels, including the two executive metropolises.
The NEBE has conducted five public choices, two original choices, and six blackballs.
Since January 2019, in an effort to reform NEBE, the House of Peoples’ Representatives enacted a new proclamation that reduced the management board to five members who serve full-time for a period of six years. According to Proclamation No. 1133/2019, the board has the following powers and duties.
Position 1: Junior Finance Expert II
Education and Work Experience
Master’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance, economics, Business, or related field
2 years for a Master's or 4 years for a BA
Knowledge
Knowledge of financial rules and regulations
Knowledge of tax laws
Knowledge of the Internal implementation regulation of the organization
Knowledge of Payroll preparation
Accuracy and organization

IFMIS Proficiency
Suitable to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines

Qualification: Master's or BA degree in accounting, economics, Business, or related field

Education and Work Experience
8 years and Ph.D | 10 years for Master's in Law, Political Science, Human Rights, Project Management, Management
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a leadership position

Knowledge of people aspects of Change management methodologies, approaches, and models
Strong organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong grasp of popular institutions principles;
Ability to write and speak the civil working language, the indigenous language, and English; knowledge of additional international and original languages will be an asset.

Position 5: Information Desk Assistant/ Receptionist
Education and Work Experience
Parchment or BA in Management, Public Administration, Secretarial Science, and Office Management, or related fields.
1 year for Bachelor's | 3 years of applicable Experience for Diploma.
Knowledge and Skill
Good command of Amharic.
Good self-organizational skills.
Ability to work singly and as part of a team.
Stress tolerance and patience.
Discipline and punctuality.
Meeting employees and visitors with a friendly manner.
Fluency in Amharic is required, and a good command of English is a plus.
