Position 1: FCDO Regional Lead  

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s or original qualification in education, public administration, international development, gender, or related field. A Master’s is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 4- 6 years of applicable work experience, with at least 1 year at the directorial level managing and successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects at the indigenous level in Ethiopia or similar contexts. 
  • Preference will be given to candidates with similar experience in the field of education. 
  • Ability to provide leadership and harness the multi-disciplinary skills of the specialized personnel and consortium partners. 
  • Staff management experience, with experience in leading and motivating individuals and teams to deliver high-quality activities and achieve program outcomes. 
  • Experience and ability to work with and build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including government, civil society, and communities. 
  • Understanding of the education delivery system in Ethiopia and familiarity with the political, and artistic context and operating terrain in a region and Ethiopia more broadly. 
  • Experience in coordinating and working with the government of Ethiopia at an indigenous level, specifically within the education sector is preferred. 
  • Previous experience in operating effectively within complex and high-risk environments and managing the requirements of multiple stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced and complex environment. 
  • Strong logical skills, with experience using data to inform decision-making and program adjustments. 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information backed with evidence. 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic.

Position 3: FCDO Education Leadership Technical LEAD  

Requirements 

  • Bachelor or original experience in education/ education leadership, adult education, public administration, international development, gender, or related field. A Master’s is preferred. 
  • 5- 7 years experience in education leadership, curriculum development, and teacher training, preferably in multilingual surroundings. 
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing school leadership training programs and guidelines. 
  • Strong knowledge of gender-responsive school leadership policies and practices and effective educational training methodologies. 
  • previous experience in operating effectively within complex and high-risk  surroundings and managing the  
  • requirements of multiple stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced and complex terrain. 
  • Strong logical skills, with experience using data to inform decision-making and program adjustments. 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information backed with evidence to advocate and persuade influential stakeholders. 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and preferably also Amharic  
  • Length of Contract 1 year with desirable extension depending on the project duration  
  • Place of Work – Based in Addis Ababa with frequent travel to PIN’s project sites in different regions as required.

Position 4: Field Officer  

Requirements 

Minimum Bachelor Degree in WASH, Education, Electromechanical Engineering & TVETs development, Partnership Development, Rural Development, and related. 

Minimum 4 years’ former INGO experience, experience in TVETs and WASH systems, Stakeholders management, Youth, TVETs, and MSME engagement, Strategic planning, management, reporting, communication with government authorities & partner NGOs, cooperation development, collaboration with  colorful TVETs, and stakeholders, forums, etc 

Good communication and capacity to work under stress 

Good command of MS Package( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 

Knowledge of spoken & written Amharic, English 

3 strong references (will be crosschecked and communicated.
