Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks in Ethiopia.  PSS is a consortium owned by six private banks i.e., Awash International Bank, Nib International Bank, United Bank, Berhan International Bank, Addis International Bank, and Cooperative Bank of Oromia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking, and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/ Credit card transactions for the banks.  Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualifications and required experience listed for this job opening.  

Position 1 Executive Assistant  

Qualification & Work Experience 

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management or a related field 
  • At least 2 years of applicable experience.  
  • Description of Duties 
  • Ensure that the CEO's office is always clean, ready, and attractive for work and customer running. 
  • Do receptions, respond to inquiries, correspondence both telephone and written directed to separate offices. 
  • Prepare and dispatch letters, e-mails, scanning, copying, and binding internal memos and other materials to member banks and other organs. 
  • File of all documents and correspondence to and from the  separate office 
  • Maintain the CEO calendar and schedule of appointments, screen requests for meetings, and synchronize office and particular diaries to ensure that appointments don't overlap. 
  • Organize and coordinate all logistics including travel arrangements for the CEO meetings and conferences( both internal & external 
  • Oversee the prompt collection and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail in the separate office. 
  • Ensure the availability of office supplies at the CEO's office. 
  • Organize the filing and retrieval of files and documents to ensure that they're secure and accessible 
  • Maintain effective and effective communication channels between the CEO's office, the Board, other departments, and external customers to ensure a professional interface and superior customer service. 
  • Handle petty cash. 
  • Draft correspondence on behalf of the CEO as applicable. 
  • Coordinate the preparation of both original and  transnational itineraries for the CEO and confirm travel bookings and hotel reservations 
  • Record register and file letters, minutes, circulars, reports, and other related materials for the CEO. 
  • Provide safe custody of correspondence files and other materials of nonpublic nature. 
  • Manage the CEO's office and assist the CEO with day-to-day routines. 
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.  

Position 2 Senior Project Management Officer  

Qualification & Work Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Management Information system or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years ’ applicable experience 
  • Prince2 training or PMI is advantageous. 
  • Experience with one or more Project Management methodologies similar as 
  • Prince2 or PMBOK preferable. 
  • Applicable certifications are advantageous.  
  • Description of Duties 
  • Involve in the implementation of the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure, and environment system administration. 
  • Manage the implementation of the IT policy, procedures, and documents. 
  • Perform the design, setup, installation, integration, and operation of the system to meet the business ’ requirements. 
  • Manage all servers, back-over devices, operating systems, and environmental systems that are installed, configured and always performing optimally. 
  • Manage and monitor all servers and storage 
  • Perform corrective and periodic preventative maintenance of system equipment. 
  • Perform cleaning and dust removal of the  waiters and storage 
  • Work with vendors and monitor all system infrastructure support activities. 
  • Manage the delivery of systems and other projects. 
  • Conduct periodic system infrastructure performance metrics. 
  • Involve in the design of system capacity planning and building business continuity. 
  • Involve in the execution of upgrades and migration of system infrastructures 
  • Manage high availability, confidentiality, integrity, and trustability of system structure. 
  • give support services to druggies within established SLAs; 
  • Work with all applicable IT and other work units in the group. 
  • Involvement in research of system technologies and standards like servers and storage 
  • figure knowledge base from the lessons learned. 
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of employees within the department toward effective career development. 
  • Prepare periodic reports 
  • Attend incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment 
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
